Good call on the function call at the end of footer.php. That solved that problem.

We are still working on the site for a client and can’t post the address publiclly.

The theme we are using is custom with custom sidebars. I am not sure if that is related to the adsense problem. The ads display on the site without any issues.

As noted above I entered the pub-id code including the “pub-” and the channel number in the wptouch settings.

Currently the ads only appear in the sidebars on the desktop version. I am not sure how that would translate to the wptouch version and where the ads would be displayed on the ipod.

Where is the formatting of the shortcode display?

I would like to change the font size and may be the color of the fields displayed on the non-admin page.

I checked the CSS files but couldn’t find it.

Thanks. I didn’t catch the limit option for the shortcodes. That seems to work for now until a scroll bar or next option is available.

On the second item, is there a way to clear all data from the fields you are using once the record is written to the DB so that even if a refresh is done the data is already cleared?

We need a form that writes to the DB and provides a display of the data entered. Our requirement is not for a form submission by email. The Contact 7 form and your extension plugin are the closest thing I could find that provides this functionality.

When do you think that may be available?

Is there a way to limit the output to a fixed number of rows similar to the option that exists for the Admin display?

also I think there may be a little bug in the code. I noticed that if I fill out a form and click on the send button it clears the fields and displays a message that the entry was sent. But if I click on the browser page refresh it writes another row into the database with the same info that was already sent.

One more suggestion for the “to do list” :-). Add an option to allow for DB write only without actually sending an email, or maybe this has to be done in the Contact 7 code. This would be great if you want to gather information only.

Figured out how to solve this.

I am not sure this is the right way to do it but it works.

Open the post in edit mode (the one deleted from twitter). You will find two custom fields in the middle of the page. Set aktt_notify_twitter to no and set aktt_tweeted to 0 (zero) and click the update buttons below each of them. Then click the update button for the post and the tweet should appear in twitter.

After spending several hours trying to make this work I finally figured this out.

It appears that feedburner will not burn a feed for wordpress unless there are published items in the blog. Sort of a catch 22. Once I published one entry in the blog Feedburner was able to burn the feed.

I don’t know if this is a new issue or was always like this but I thought I would post this here in case someone else runs into this problem.

I see several items on google about the duplicate problem but only one that offers a solution and that one is from 2008 and several people in comments indicate that it doesn’t work for later versions. Also it appears that this solution must be run manually (unless I misunderstood the directions)

I am looking for an inline code fix for that latest version of WP that will run as items are added to the posts and deletes that immediately.

twoenough: I do know php and just a side comment I think this war of words here is not helpful to anyone. If you have a solid product people will test it and buy it, if not people will point out the problems as with any other software.

It doesn’t look to me that any of these plugins do what we need.

We want to use a keyword, so that everytime someone uses that keyword that tweet is retrieved and displayed on a page on our WP site.

If you are on twitter (on your home page) you can search on any keyword and twitter displays in real-time everytime someone uses that word. We want to capture those tweets.

I don’t think that any of the plugins described does this, unless the descriptions are not clear or I missed something.
