Old plugin data should have been imported to new data format. However, there are exceptions. If your already created lists are not imported, you have to re-create it.

If your list already have been imported, then you will need to update the shortcode [postlist x] you have used. Because new data will use a new id.

Good thing is, some awesome updates are coming soon which will enable a lot more flexibility. You might have also noticed the new pagination feature.

Can you send me a link to your product site page where you are using the plugin ? I think i can adjust one using the latest version of the plugin.

So, the category wise list is gone, and most probably for a long time till i release a group by algorithm. Now, for you, there’s tow way you can achieve this. 1. Create a separate list for each category posts, and use the shortcode one by one, put the category name manually on top of every list. 2. Revert back to the old plugin tagged 1.5.9 and never do any future updates unless you check the upgrade notice includes the group by feature.

Or, the current post list has a option to display categories associated with each posts using [post_terms tax=’category’], however i don’t think you are looking for that.

I really understand the feature you are talking about was very important for creating an category/posts archive type page easily. But what i have found is that for that duel channel algorithm, i couldn’t find a better idea to upgrade the plugin for a long time.

Good news is, i will brought back a grouping mechanism, not only with terms, but also with author, terms and year within next two month. So i hope you can stick with the older version till then, or migrate as per the recommendation 1.

They should work unless they are the same list. For some algorithm reason, you can not display the same list multiple times, ex: [postlist 2] [postlist 2], but you can display different list ex: [postlist 3] [postlist 9] etc.

On the Option “Post Template Loop“, remove the line [image], [excerpt], [more]. This will only display post title and not thumbnail or excerpt.

Are you really using this plugin ? can you tell me the context when you see this kind of error ? I always develop in debug mode, and never found this kind of errors.

I can see you haven’t selected any posts or categories. Please note, this plugin only display posts or categories, not directory or content of it.
