Though you increase in the cpanel it may not be increased in script you have been running .. please contact your host support for asking them the check if settings are being used by the php script or not.

No. The whitspace you leave will act as doing something like echo “”; in PHP which will send the browser the headers information and dataload, after which many functions may not work and throw fatal error called headers already sent.

Have you tried using WP_DEBUG in wp-config.php and setting it to true may be some errors is thrown when it is logged in ?

Template parts means you are loading the part of the file but shortcode means you are running a function with an argument. So some code to be reused the template part can be useful than shortcode since you want to load part of the code everywhere rather than calling a function that will give some output when it is invoked.

– updating everything
– deactivating all your plugins
– switching to default theme like twenty thirteen or something

Yaa major functions are taken from parent theme so updating it will be a great idea ?? and updating all themes and plugins will be also great. You can setup local or a test site for updating and doing changes and if you are using cpanel with the staging support than the pain will be much lesser ??

Are you installing from softaculous or something ? If you are installing from softaculous you can change the database name from the settings before installing.

I think there is already a background image to your body https://prntscr.com/cfaqzf which you are trying to change. This can be probably be managed from customizer settings. If you want to change the pink part than you have to search option for it in customizer but if your theme does not support it you have to do custom css and theme tweaks for which you have to have knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress Theming, WordPress Child Theme (Option but good for standard code)

Is the problem with all the plugin or the specific plugin ?

I think the buddy press or bbpress changes has caused the problem. Can you download the site using duplicator and switch to default theme I think the problem will be solved. It may be due to conflict in functions of bbpress or buddypress with the humane theme configuration which has the old codes of bbpress or buddypress.
