In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product variation: Reset shipping time to “Same as parent”Oh, dunno, yes, you are right. (I was just browsing the WC documentation and I was wondering that shipping times are not documented.)
Yes, I am barking up the wrong tree. It is probable the plugin ” WooCommerce Germanized” by Vendidero.
Sorry for cluttering the forum. (At least, I tried to help another person in turn by replying to another thread.)

In reply to: [WooCommerce] i’ve read and accept the terms & conditions color(I am not a 100% specialist in these things, but let’s give it a try helping others.)
It seems that your theme sets a particular CSS style, namely in screen.css on line 7495 affecting CSS classes .info-boxes .order and .order-details . (Inspect your own web page with a html debugger.)
Try to configure it in your theme’s settings or add some custom CSS code.

In reply to: [Plugin: Speakout!] SpeakOut! is a fork of SpeakUp!Great to hear that the plugin is further developed and forked. I have seen that there are already some forks / modifications on github but as fas as I can judge, the changes that have been made do not seem to match the quality of code that the original author has set.
Btw, your links do not work at the moment. I am sure, you’re just setting it up and it will take a while.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Page – White ScreenThanks for the reply. Yes indeed, this is the only plugin that behaves like this, and I have installed quite a few of them at some stage. (I have not too many running.) I suspect that the calendar plugin must do something nasty to the site, as the front end becomes blank and the backend is not available anymore. Removing (by FTP) the calendar files in /plugin makes the whole site work again…
If I were asked to bet, I would bet on the plugin to be the cause… I’ll investigate…Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Web Site Crash With UpgradeHi, I am having similar issues. Manual upgrade and automatic upgrade (from within WP Dashboard) crashed my site. I had to do a backup restore and finally could make the site work again by deleting all calendar files from the folder /plugin manually.
So theoretically a fresh reinstall should do the trick, but it does not.
After uploading the version 2.0.4 I get an error message:
https://i1349.photobucket.com/albums/p754/sakudo1/Clipboard01_zpsd68508c3.jpg
Something like “during the connections to the server, there is an error. Please verify your settings.” (Pwd is correct.) If I continue from this screen I get stuck on a blank screen and the dashboard is unavailable and I need to delete the calender files manually (by FTP).
What can I do? I noticed that the mysql database is still full of entries. Should I delete them manually (phpmyadmin)?
Please help!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Page – White ScreenThanks for the info. I tried it according to the instructions.
The only thing I did after the deactivation & uninstall of the calendar was to update wordpress to 3.8.2. After uploading the zip file, wordpress asks for the login to the FTP server, but then produces an connection error and the whole wordpress site is down (frontend = blank, back end only producing these connections errors and if you click “continue” the screen goes blank as well). I will restore the backup and avoid updating wordpress. (I’ll do it after a successful install of the calendar, I hope….)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Page – White ScreenHi Jashan,
thanks for your reply. – Oh (no!), a new version of the calendar Standard version (2.0.4) came out. Do you think, it will properly upgrade from 1.10.11 (by doing a manual upgrade) given that I had to manually delete “line 160” described above?
Also there is a new WP version 3.8.2. I hope, compatibility is given… (Actually I cannot download the version 2.0.4: I am directed to https://time.ly/pricing/ after checkout, but then the free version just links back to the very same page…. I’ll come back later…)Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Page – White ScreenI had a similar issues. Advices given here:
https://support.time.ly/500-server-error-when-sorting-calendar-cat-tags-etc-for-unlogged-in-users/
or here:
https://support.time.ly/calendar-page-caching-breaks-the-super-widget-for-non-logged-in-user/
did not help.
I am just wondering how many manual fixes this plugin needs. I wish, it would just work like a charm…. The calendar looks great actually…
But this advice here (deleting a line) did do the trick.
Let’s see how long it lasts without discovering the next hickup…
