Made a new server with Apache 2.2.11, PHP 5.2.9-2 with mySQL 5.1.34. The “cannot load” php errors are gone!
It looks like the problem is with Sambar — guess I need to migrate (Sambar is no longer supported). I have Sambar’s mappings.ini setup for ISAPI. Something else still misconfigured…
