Hello Everyone,
I created this post to try to get an Amazon Rep to answer the following question:

“Does the 2019 Product Advertising API requirement change notification effect this “Amazon Associates Link Builder Plugin”?”

For any other Amazon Plugin issue could you kindly create a separate post as we try to get AMAZON to answer us. I’m not sure why they are dodging this simple question.

The link you provided takes me to the plugin page and I’m not sure where to look for the answer that you are speaking of “So looks like Amazon have given us some way around this! ??”

Basically, my question is:
Is using the ” Amazon Associates Link Builder ” fall under the new API rule?

@amazonlinkbuilder besides my question above…I also have 2 more questions:

1)I have updated to the new version, should I now purge/clear cache on my page cache + browser cache + hosting cache + CDN cache so I can quickly get my links out on the internet to re-indexed by Google so the new links can start earing again?

2) Basically, any links since Jan 29 that have been indexed are not earing us any affiliate profit right?

So did we just lose all amazon commissions since this problem started?
I was affected by this since Jan 29. My Amazon report shows traffic dropped to “zero” since Jan 29.

So what now? Do you guys have a way to backtrack the sold items via our efforts?

Version 1.4.2 did not fix the plugin… I tried Uninstall and reinstall and its still NOT working.
I need to use your awesome plugin on a new project Please advice.

Thanks for the quick reply, however like mentioned in the last post, I tried a clean install of version 1.4.2 with no success.

I just tried a clean install for a 2nd time and its still not working.

I’m using a Genesis theme on WP 3.9.

I was having the same issue since the WordPress 3.9 update.

I also found the problem to be with “Ultimate Nofollow” plugin.

I tried deactivating/reactivating and the problem did not go away.
I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it with no success.

The only way to get things working is to completely delete the “Ultimate Nofollow” plugin and hope they fix it in the next few days.

I will email the “Ultimate Nofollow” developers to let them know.

I don’t think it is because of that. One of the breadcrumbs is from Yoast SEO while the other is from WooCommerce. Both of which Even with only WooCommerce enabled, I still had issues being able to change “Products” text. I’ve turned off the Yoast SEO breadcrumbs for now and it still says Products in the breadcrumbs.

Under the WooCommerce / Settings / Products tab, it is already set to “Shop” yet it still says Products in the breadcrumbs. I even tried changing the breadcrumb title for the page via Yoast SEO plugin under the advanced tab.

I found the problem! After deactivating and reactivating each plugin and testing each, I found that the “MailPoet Newsletter” plugin was causing massive problems when used with the “Hueman Theme (child theme)”.

It basically made the Jetpack CSS area blank, and get it totally shot down Yoast’s SEO plugin functionality when creating a post. Also it stopped access to switching from “Visual” to “Text” mode when composing a post.

3hrs gone …… At least I found the problem. I guess this started when MailPoet updated the plugin 2 to 3 days ago.

What a night.
