I was getting a spam comment each single minute. Now CFC prevented them all from even commenting in the first place! and even if gone escaped, CFC automatically catch it and delete it. Great plugin. Thanks sooooooo much Samboll.

There is a mention in that page about <?php the_content but they failed to mention where that is to be found.. which file????

Thanks to you, I’ve deleted 26596 comments in one click. They also disappeared from the admin pages perfectly.

Can someone please give me the query that I need to run to delete all pending posts? I have over 26000 pending posts that I want to delete in one go.

And do I run the query from phpmyadmin or is there a built in sql box in wp admin?

I’ve used 2 small plugins, and they worked like a charm:

Once I installed those 2 plugins, I went ahead and used the built-in “text widget” from: Appearance > Widgets, and dropped it where I want in the sidebar, then typed:
[showposts]
(I did edit the showposts shortcut plugin file to show 5000 posts instead of 5, and show them in DESC order instead of ASC).

Btw, I’m using 2.8.4, it was just a typo.

Oh, thank you for telling me. I keep forgetting that weird location for that setting.
But, now that I unchecked it, it goes back to html view. In WPMU, it gives you both HTML and Editor tabs, where you can easily switch between them anytime.
I wonder if thats an MU specific feature..

Options > Writing > untick: “Users should use the visual rich editor by default”.

what does the author mean by:
1. Drop Your images into
/[images-root]/[article-id]/

For example, if my image directory is ‘images’ and I’m posting what wordpress gave ID number: 19
does that mean we should open a new browser window, and type the URL to domain.com/images/19 (19 doesnt exist anyhow)??
or does he means we should create a subdirectory and name it 19, under ‘images’ directory?
is it that complicated?
