Why is it that after I post I usually get the problem fixed. My server admin seems to have healed the server issue. I suspect the fire wall went nuts and had to be reset.

Actually it is deletin’ the accounts but the stats plugin account info is still there.

So I deleted them, things running great. And I read Mika’s wordpress 101 and 110, very good reading.

The wordpress install for https://www.vashonguide.com is a closed registration group of sites more for the marketing of my local community Vashon Island. I have 5 multi site installs 1 folders and the other 4 sub domain. All work great.

I’m in the process of looking at this. I removed 6 sites and the tables are still in Mysql.
Below are the tables. Tables for sites 7,10,11,12,13,18 are no longer needed.

I also have the folders created under blogs.dir for the sites deleted.

Can I just delete the Mysql tables for the sites and the directories in blogs.dir.

I also have my own server so if I mess up I can restore the WHM backup made last nite (and that backup restre has been tested) My wordpress multisite is built on https://www.vashonguide.com

I did do this and it invloved changing I beleive 5 Mysql tables as well as the wp-cnfig. You are not going to be able to change it through any regular wordpress admin option. It’s php my admin, and changing the wp-config.php. look in the wp_blogs, wp_options, wp_site, wp_sitemeta, user_meta tables, if I remember right.

Just got done doing the Hokey Pokey fix for stats. The New sites added, stats are working now. Did not lose any data from sites where the stats were working. Is this how it’s suposed to work?

No stats on the new sites added. I’m about to do the Hokey Pokey and delete the plugin and install it again.

I like the stats, however, is the plugin stable? Are the people who developed it still around or is this plugin no longer suported?

Thats what I did also t get the stats to work on the added sites. I however had forgoten to set the def folder to write (777), and have since changed that.

I have not added any new sites but might ad one today to see if it gets stats.

I’m having the same problem
The RSS feed for Vashon Loop. Clik on the read more link on the stories and you will see what happens. the link is the same link for the first story in the rss feed. Can this be fixed?

I think I found it. Going over install again. Nothing like a little pratice to make perfect.
