O.K., I just had a complex comment, but went to check on how to create a system report and lost it. GRR! Anyway, I had previously updated Matomo on this site: https://democracywatchnews.org, and yesterday was updating other plug-ins when this site, too developed a critical error. I had just updated PublishPress Authors, which is on your conflict list (not sure what to do about that, as I have used both plug-ins on all 4 of my sites). The reason I updated PublishPress Authors is this, from their change log, which made me think they might have resolved the issue:
Changed: Replaced Pimple library with a prefixed version of the library to avoid conflicts with other plugins; Changed: Replaced Psr/Container library with a prefixed version of the library to avoid conflicts with other plugins;
No luck though; Matomo is currently paused while the site is in Recovery Mode, so I cannot get a system report (will look to do so on uujec.net), but here is the message in the plug-in list:
This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.
An error of type
E_COMPILE_ERROR
was caused in line210
of the file/homepages/14/d4296767180/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/matomo/app/vendor/php-di/php-di/src/Container.php
. Error message:Declaration of DI\Container::has($name) must be compatible with Psr\Container\ContainerInterface::has(string $id): bool
I avoid Google almost rabidly, and have been recommending Matomo in various WordPress groups since I found it, so I am a bit nonplussed to be having these issues; hoping it is my own lack of knowledge and not a major problem.
Of course, Matomo is deactivated on uujec.net, too—I was able to get an error log and test activity e-mail from Wordfence; would they be helpful? How do I get them to you?

I see a circle on days with events, but I used to see the actual event, with the category color background and at least part of the event title. Much less information than used to be visible on Full Calendar. Is there a setting I can change? I had skipped the most recent updates, but when I did not see any past events in my event list, I went ahead and updated to 6.4.4. It is functional, but disappointing to loose the more-informative view.

In reply to: [Matomo Analytics - Ethical Stats. Powerful Insights.] Publish Press?Thanks! The reply is much appreciated.
Thanks; I did some (delayed) research and found that it is a Mac identifier file. I don’t see an easy way to delete the file, but I imagine that it is O.K. to ignore it.
Thanks for helping me track that down! So clear now that I look at it again. I’ll check my settings on that plug-in and take further questions there.

In reply to: [LH Sortable Tables] PHP version needed?Thanks; absolutely! I when plugintests.com did not show any problems with my plug-ins, I relied on the hosting support to explain why a domain that was NOT my WordPress site was using PHP 5.6 and that it was O.K. to delete it. The second support person put that domain back and upgrading to a new block-based theme solved my PHP issues; the look is slightly different, but all is functional and easier to maintain.
Thanks so much for the quick reply; really appreciated!

In reply to: [Ice Cold] Error in theme…I have been using icecold for more than a year now, and I do not have that problem; my post page is https://lackawannacoalition.org/latest-arrivals and the full posts show up unless I remember to put in a “read more” block, in which case the material before that shows up. I am on .org, not .com, so IDK if that is an important difference.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Duplicate eventsI copy old events regularly; open Past events, click the box by the one you want, and choose Copy from the WP menu, change date and URL, whatever else you want.
What I haven’t been able to do is create 2 different recurring events on the same day—one series at 3 p.m., one series at 10 p.m.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] How long will legacy version remain an option?I had the same question; I want to retain the old, legacy version, not having to create another account. Glad to hear that I can still do that and hope that I can continue that way long-term.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Redirects to 404I agree with the original poster; I want to stay in my WordPress environment and to suddenly have no option to do that—with a massive number of 404 links that don’t actually seem to be broken, with many warnings and redirects that are new, is making me think about looking for another plug-in. If you are truly accepting feedback and will restore the nonsubscription, within-my-WordPress ability, I will retain it—and guess I will not remove it immediately to see what happens, but a really useful plug-in has been rendered almost not worth keeping. VERY disappointed.
Has anyone tried 6.1.5 or 6.1.6 yet? I am hoping that hopping over 6.1.4 will do the trick, but waiting for my colleague to give me the all-clear. Alternatively, I am thinking of deactivating 6.1.3 and adding a separate copy of 6.1.6 to test it out. Wondering if that would lose all my events permanently, or just temporarily, so that I could remove the new one and upgrade the one in which all the events were created. Hoping for a good report so that I don’t have to do that.

I just did a new scan; this is the name of the single file I was asked to delete:
/homepages/14/d4296767180/htdocs/wordpress/.opcache/0d2ea278101ca27c57f9b713592df066/homepages/14/d4296767180/htdocs/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceScanner.php.binDoes that help track down the problem?

I had the same thing today, deleted all the files (maybe 6)? that were suggested by this message, but I don’t know how to find the culprit. I just updated the theme today. This is a site under construction, so I don’t have anything too old; most of the plug-ins I use on multiple sites (we all have our favorites, right?) and I have not yet seen this on others (only in one other dashboard today).
I wonder if you are blocking even more cookies than I am?
