Version 7.8.1 crashed one of my websites, but reverting back to version 7.8.0 brought the site back.
To fix the issue temporarily, download version [7.8.0] from the link below, upload it, and replace the latest version.

#8 {main}
thrownIt got fixed with the new update Version 5.0.1, I think it’s caused by incompatibility with PHP 8!
Hey @0rbita
This issue gets me nerve-wracking even without me having it, I would like to take a closer look “free of charge” with temporarily account with an LMS manager role, If you’re interested and you’re in the LifterLMS’s Facebook group you can pm there, My name is “Saeed Al-Masri” on Facebook.I think this way is the only solution for your logged-in student issues, (The only cure is the hair of the dog).
All the support tickets have a website with previously enabled SG optimizer, disabling it doesn’t solve the issue, My website on SG hosting x LifterLMS works fine because I’ve never enabled the SG optimizer on it, I think the previously caching files need to be handled properly, It’s all guessing, I didn’t take a look at anything like what you guys having before.
Oh, I’m afraid to turn SG optimizer on and have what other fellows had for 3 weeks even after disabling the cache, please if you can provide more details on the excluding paths/files for LifterLMS files that would be awesome, not for me only, there are several fellows here with open/not resolved tickets and in the facebook group having issues with Siteground x LifterLMS. I know you’re a busy man so feel free to ignore the request, no hard feelings!
Wow @hristo-sg by himself!
Could you share the configuration of the SG optimizer, please? as we the LifterLMS users on Siteground run our websites without the benefits of the caching system in SiteGround, save a server.. save a planet ??@0rbita You’ve got a lot of issues lately. Try to flush the permalinks from Settings > Permalinks > Save changes.
I said it before in this post but no one care to try! I’m no expert when it comes to the server side but taking a look at the .htaccess file worth the effort, As I remember the SG optimizer adds a lot of rules into it, maybe I’m wrong.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] Fawry pay extension@corecave Hi Nady,
I tried to install your plugin and give it a test but it won’t be active and it triggered a fatal error:
“Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”
Sorry for reporting that here, I’ll follow up in Github if it’s required.Cheers
Yeah, I second that, It happens with non-English LifterLMS websites. With newly added lessons only, whether I hit edit lesson from inside the course builder or from the courses > lessons tab.
Maybe it’s related to the lesson slug or something. I hope the support team has a solution to this issue!
I just noticed that you’re using Divi theme, If you built your course page with Divi builder, Divi has some kind of cache inside its builder, you may need to disable that from the theme options to solve your issue.
What I meant to say that SG optimizer is the one that causes you both the issues even after flushing/disabling the caching, I’m no expert when it comes to the server side but taking a look at the .htaccess file worth the effort, As I remember the SG optimizer adds a lot of rules into it, maybe I’m wrong.
I tried SG optimizer once and it caused some logged-in issues no matter what I exclude from caching and minifying, It’s not a fully mature plugin yet! even tho they said their dynamic cache is better than any other plugin out there.
I managed to fix things out “the regular way” cleared the cache, disable the plugin and I’m using Wp Rocket instead, it’s a solid plugin with settings for logged in users, but caching/minifying is like an unruly horse that needs to be tamed by excluding files and dispense with other precious options sometimes.
And yeah that bug in the course edit page as I know it was related to a conflict between the new update of Chrome and the WordPress editor “Gutenberg”
