In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Dash icon not showing on mobileHi there, that screenshot isn’t my website, and I still cannot see the hyphens on mobile. I’ve tried on multiple different mobiles and mobile browsers and I can only see them on desktop.
I added them via the setting ‘counter’ = hyphen, and ‘counter position’ = inside.
Any other suggestions?

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Dash icon not showing on mobileHi there, I have tried on different mobiles and cleared caches, but I can’t see it. Is there anything else I can try? Can others definitely see it?

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Dash icon not showing on mobileHi, so sorry I accidentally shared the mobile link twice.
This is the desktop screenshot where I can see the dashes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PGld2IjVbtIxnT8tpxrJ5D4bIm6Y_89Q/view?usp=sharing
I just checked my mobile again, and I still can’t see the dashes like you do on your end. Do you know why this would be happening?
Thanks so much.
Ahh I didn’t know about the container trick!
Thankyou so much for your time, that solves all my problems ?? I appreciate it a lot.I worked out the button issue too. It was set to ‘inherit from theme’ which removed the styling options.

In reply to: CSS Formatting of ListsThankyou SO much George for taking the time to clearly and simply explain all of that. I appreciate it so much and you made it very easy to understand.
I have removed the old 2 pieces of CSS and inserted your combined code. And it works perfectly! I’ve had a thorough around a number of posts and pages to check, and it’s exactly what I was hoping to achieve – so thankyou very very much! I appreciate it a lot.
Any ideas on manually reducing spacing above a bulleted list? Or is that just way too complicated to ask?
Thanks again, Sally
Thanks for the quick response. I was able to deactivate Short Pixel, and then remove NextGen before reactivating.
Thanks again!

In reply to: Reusable Block Formatting not DisplayingHey, thankyou for that. It worked, however the link I had included in the text is no longer displayed as you can see here: https://sallysees.com/mexico-city-itinerary/
When I try to switch back to the visual editor, it just says ‘This block contains unexpected or invalid content’ and when I try to recover it to be able to re-edit and add the link, the entire text just disappears.
Not sure what is going on!

In reply to: Reusable Block Formatting not DisplayingHi there, that worked but it changed the styling of any text in italics ?? I now have random tiny sized words throughout my blog post.
In the reusable blocks editor I have the option to add a HTML anchor to the block – would that help if added an anchor and therefore knew the name?
I can also directly add a Additional CSS Class inside the editor?

In reply to: Reusable Block Formatting not DisplayingHi Mayank,
Thankyou so much for your reply.
I think my theme has a conflicting CSS rule for the size of body text so I would need to override that rule. I can definitely paste the additional code in to my file, however – I can’t work out the name of the block. I’ve inspected the element in Google, but I can’t seem to find a name.
I’m so sorry, do you think you would be able to find it? It is on this post, just under the first image with the cactus – https://sallysees.com/mexico-city-itinerary/
The text is in italics and starts – “This article may contain affiliate / compensated links…”
Thankyou so much – sorry for a very stupid question!!

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gallery Block Row Number on MobileHi Kathryn,
Apologies for the delayed response and thankyou so much for your reply!
I’ve just inserted the code, and while it worked perfectly – you’re right, it does make the captions a bit whacky and the images quite small.
To go back a step, the reason I wanted to change it to display three columns is the way that mobile changes the landscape orientated images. On desktop I will always create my galleries to work out so that portrait images are sitting vertically and landscape images are sitting horizontally, but when the number of columns changes on mobile, this mucks up and you end up seeing a landscape orientated image in a tiny portrait snippet.
Is there any way to force the gallery block to display the images on mobile in their original orientation? Maybe that will resolve my problem.
Otherwise, I’m thinking it might be better to actually reduce the number of columns on mobile to 1 – not 2 or 3. Then all images are just displayed in their original orientation – right? ??
Thanks so much! Sally
