After going through each plugin and the child theme I’ve realised it’s a function in my child theme causing the conflict. I have a function which changes the order ID to a name. Paypal obviously doesn’t like that and wants numbers instead of letters. At least I know what was causing the issue. Now I need to find a way to be able to change the order ID for the customer but not for Paypal…
This was a compatibility issue with another plugin – fixed now by deactivating and reactivating the other plugin!

For example I now have ‘amount:2000’ set in order to charge £20. But if it changes back to how it was before then I’ll be charging people £2000 instead of £20, which would obviously become a huge problem.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Sending mail has been aborted.An update for anyone else with the problem: It would appear that where previously Stripe would read “20” in the amount as £20 (in my example [stripe currency:gbp amount:20 “Pay for Adult Membership” “Pay £20”]) it is now reading this as 20 pence, which is below the minimum 30 pence required. In order for me to achieve £20 payment I need to change ‘amount:20’ to ‘amount:2000’. (2000 pence = 20 pounds GBP)

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Sending mail has been aborted.I have the same issue. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins (except CF7 and Stripe) and the issue remains. It was working fine previously but now it’s just the ‘Sending mail has been aborted.’ message.
For anyone else using Cloudflare and experiencing the same problem, clearing the cache only temporarily solved it. I then had to check the ‘no query’ radio button on the caching tab in the Cloudflare dashboard to permanently resolve the issue.
Ah, nice one. I use Cloudflare. Purged the cache there and it sorted it. Thank you, Ryan. Sam
