In reply to: [SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle] Image Length Distorted in Mobile ViewThank you. Issue is resolved.
So to update you – I changed the send options to NOT go through MailPoet and it is now sending out. I would still like to know if you are able to fix this issue when choosing to send via the MailPoet option?
Thank you.
Hi @wfyann,
I whitelisted the Wordfence IP’s and it seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you for your help.
Update – message from my hosting support is, ” It seems the connection from our server to ‘noc1.wordfence.com’ is blocked. Please contact them and check if the IP ‘169.53.184.98’ is blocked in their server.”
Can you please look into this?
Thank you,
Hi – here is the latest word from Greengeeks Tech Support:
“I’m very sorry, but due to the server configuration there is no way to enable WordFence Firewall Extended Protection for multiple wordpress installations.”
Hi @wfphil,
Here is what their tech support said in one instance:
1.) “As far as I see, some websites resides in the same account but in different directories. I’m sorry but its not possible to set multiple auto_prepend_file in single account. Please try to create .user.ini file in document root of every website and add auto_prepend_file directive accordingly.Another tech support said this:
2.) Please try to setup appropriate auto_prepend_file for each subdomain using .user.ini files.Hi @wfphil,
Just to answer your question, the link to your instructions in your previous response did not enable me to set up the extended protection of the firewall in my WordPress installations. I need further assistance.
Thank you,
Thanks @mountainguy2 but unfortunately, their tech support isn’t very helpful – I have given up with them.
Hi @wfphil – this is not a multi-site installation. They are individual, separate WordPress installations – each with their own installation of Wordfence. I have done this numerous times before with success in other shared hosting plans – but with Greengeeks – it is not working and their tech support is not helpful and is telling me not to bother setting up the extended protection. I was hoping someone may have run across this same problem and would have a work-around for it.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Button Shortcode on main Events PageHi – I really appreciate your help. I only needed this button on 1 post – so the Events settings won’t apply. The theme does have it’s own button shortcode – so, not sure what’s going on – have tried pasting shortcode directly into the text editor too. Anyway, thanks for all your suggestions. For now, the button is gone and just linked some text.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Button Shortcode on main Events PageHi – @rlhinirv57
Are you with the Events Calendar Plugin team? I am not sure how you would post this to the “Main Events” page as it pulls in all the event posts to it. I did try copying and pasting the code into text view on the event “post” and it did not work.
thanks for replying.
Thanks David – I re-installed WordPress as you suggested and all is working fine now.
Thank you!

In reply to: Visual and Text Editor Not RespondingThis apparently fixed the visual/text editor problem, however, I would still like to find out why?
-Try adding this to the your active theme’s wp-config.php file above the /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ line so it looks like this: define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
Can anyone out there please explain what happened and why this fixed it?
Thanks!Hi – I’m having the same problems with the visual/text editor. I always use Black Studio TinyMCE Widget on every website I make and have never had a problem. This is the first time I have used it together with the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and Page Builder by Site Origin.
I have done all of the suggested fixes: disabled all plugins, changed theme to 2015; re-installed WordPress; enabled SCRIPT_DEBUG and followed the instructions in the Codex post. It said if this “fixed” the problem, then to disable it and report the problem to the support forum (which I have done last night) but I have had no response.
Can you please offer any other suggestions – I am supposed to launch this site over the weekend. Thanks.

In reply to: Visual and Text Editor Not RespondingLooking back over all the support threads for the past few days/weeks, there seems to be quite a few of us having this same issue. I did find one thread that has been resolved: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/white-text-while-posting?replies=3
Can the experts tell me if this fix would apply in my situation? Is this a bug in the latest WordPress version?
Your help is most appreciated – trying to get my site launched….

In reply to: Can’t switch from visual editor to txt/html editorI am having the same issues and have tried all of the above suggestions and a few more. Then I found this on Codex: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors
Step 2: Enable SCRIPT_DEBUG – if this fixes the problem then they advise to disable it and post the result on the support forum, which I have done in a new thread. Still waiting for an answer.
