I will elaborate on the problem.. it loads fine in mobile format but quite often after clicking thru to other pages these pages will load in the pc version rather than the mobile version like it should, sometimes it loads in mobile format as it supposed to but other times it will only load in pc format… this is the problem i am facing.. does anybody know a fix?

I have the exact same problem and it isn’t working for me either…?

for example the following is one of the scripts I tried to exclude…

didn’t work so I tried taking of the <script bits so it became just…

but that didn’t work either.

and for the scripts to be deferred i tried the following…

wpProQuiz_front.min.js

but that didn’t work either…

pretty sure I did everything right.. so it just doesn’t work does it?

I worked out the timer position but the other things I am still stuck

I just removed the spaces in the keywords set-up as you suggested in your quick fix.. and that has worked.

But thanks for making the new code, I am sure it will be helpful for everybody having this problem.

I assume that applying the new code.. will mean that links will not point to themselves no matter if there is a space or not in the link set-up.

That is happening to me too…. how can this be fixed?

update: I notice if the drop-down category menu widget is set to a list and the drop-down bit is not activated ..the problem goes away…

BUT I cant have it like that as the list is too long…

so I still need to fix this…anybody?

UPDATE…

The above information is incorrect…

Only some of the pages are redirecting properly… it does not work for all… some still show message saying cannot redirect..
Some are conflicting with other similar strings etc..

Is there a better way to redirect strings with the slash and without the slash in the same redirect command?

Google is not accessing my site at all. The robots.txt was not even able to be read by google. This has stopped the googlebot from even crawling my site. I have changed the robots.txt to the simple format you suggested, thanks for that. However my problem still exists….

the problem is not whats in the robots.txt, the problem is google is not even able to read it.

Please help somebody?.. how can I resolve this problem?

Below is the exact message from Google… and after checking everything I said above including checking with my server host, nothing seems to have worked and the fetch as google tool is still unable to access my robots.txt file or any url from my site.

The most likely explanation is that your site is overloaded. Contact your hosting provider and discuss reconfiguring your web server or adding more resources to your website.

After you think you’ve fixed the problem, use Fetch as Google to fetch https://cheapautoinsuranceinfo.net//robots.txt to verify that Googlebot can properly access your site.

as you can see from my first message, G can find it but they can not read it.

… and what’s with the url with so many slashes not retuning a 404 like it should be….

I too have the same problem with wpmp plugin creating hundreds of duplicates showing in my GWTs… i have deleted the plugin months ago but it still is creating a dup page every time i make a new page or post on my site. How can I completely rid my wordpress website from this troublesome plugin properly? I cant find any instances of it in my wp-admin or in my cpanel.. but something still lingers as it is still making dups… this is hurting my serps and I need a FIX.. Please help?

does that re-direct plugin above fix this problem somehow?

Thanks Michael…I worked it out..it was an incompatible plugin, the trouble was that I could not access the plugins to check them in the first place because the plugin menu was in the column I could not see…but I found another way and deleted plugins until the new update worked…and thats how I discovered the faulty plugin.

Sorry I said I updated to wrong version…actually I have upgraded to the current latest version 3.2 and everything else is up to date.
And I can no longer find the left column in the wordpress admin settings..it has completely vanished?

Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do about it? I can not find the plugins menu or anything else that was on the left column?
The column itself is not there anymore?
