My apologies for the late reply.

The menu on the mobile version seems to be working now ?? Although there is some dark space above the topbar on the mobile version that shouldn’t be there.

The problem of the slider remains the same. If I choose any other slider than the fullwidth slider the homepage doesn’t look in order and the slider definitely doesn’t appear.

Also, sometimes I notice that the homepage is completely blank (without having done anything or having logged on for a while) and when I update the theme it works again.

Maybe the issues are related somehow? I’m really just guessing. I really don’t know why these problems occur and how to solve them.

I have two other wordpress websites which are practically the same (same theme, more or less the same plugins, etc.) and never had anything like this happen before.

I really hope you can help me because I’m completely lost.

Hi!

I was finally able to act on your suggestion to deactivate the plugins one by one and I have found that the only option to make the dropdown menu on the mobile version work is if I deactivate the Kadence toolkit plugin. Regarding the slider, this only works if I choose the fullwidth option in ‘theme options’. Does that tell you anything that might help me in resolving this problem?

I installed the ‘WP Super Cache’ plugin to delete the cache. I hope that is what you meant. Unfortunately I don’t see any change in both the menu on the mobile version and the home page slider.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Update: I solved it by updating to the last version of the Virtue theme.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. I took it off construction mode a minute after posting this question. You were really quick to respond!

About the code, this code is already in my Custom CSS to set the height of the background of the home icon menu (the red rectangle) but what I would like to do is change the line height/spacing for the titles of the home icon menu since the long titles that take up two lines have a lot of space between them. I hope you understand what I mean.
