In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] You have a pro version? If you have the “auto preconnect” option set, there will be a JS script that collects all external domain names, and sends that via the admin-ajax call to the db table. Those domain names will be turned into preconnect hints, and future page loads will deliver these hints.
As I said in the kind review you gave, sadly I cannot justify the enormous amount of time I am required to maintain the pro plugin anymore.
I am glad you enjoy this plugin!

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] ExcellentThanks for the kind words. I have stopped selling the pro version because I really can’t justify the time I have spent on it unfortunately.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pre Load image only on certain page@danielastron This plugin can only display resource hints globally, and doesn’t support post specific hints.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pro features not available after paying@annagoe Yes- maybe the email landed in your spam? I just sent you an email with your license key.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pro features not available after paying@annagoe were you able to activate your license? Click to the “license” tab, and enter the license key which you should have received by email, and right after you paid for the license. Then you should be able to view the other settings.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pro features not available after paying@annagoe Thanks for contacting me. After installing/activating the pro plugin, you should be able to see a field in the Settings tab for a Google PageSpeed API key. The instructions on how to obtain that are right by the field. After you enter the API key, those features will be available to you. Using the pagespeed API to help create hints is definitely the way to produce the most accurate hints for your site.
However, it seems that most users prefer the same system in place for the free version. So I am working to remove the PageSpeed API stuff and implement a similar approach that is used in the free version.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pro Version Fatal Error on Activate@montidesign I just released version 1.0.3 which allows you to activate without requiring the default version.

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pro Version Fatal Error on Activate@montidesign The pro version requires the free version to be activated prior to using it. Do you have that activated?

In reply to: [Pre* Party Resource Hints] Pre Party Hints Pro – a real drag@windycityparrot Thanks for contacting me about this. There are some things to keep in mind about how these two plugins work:
1) the first time you load a page after the free plugin has been installed, it will fire a JS script which collects the data necessary to automatically create preconnect hints. All subsequent page loads will be faster with the help of those hints, and that JS script will not load thereafter. I took a look at your site and noticed about 10 resources that are being loaded from external sites, whose performance/loading time can be improved with preconnect hints.
2) Every time I have tested the execution time of the “pro” version, the code has only taken a few microseconds to execute. So the excessive load time has got to be for some other reason. Personally I have found the load times and report data from GTmetrix to vary quite a bit, so I prefer webpagetest.org. I suggest installing it a second time, loading the front end, and then testing it again (twice to be sure).
Hope this info helps, and please let me know if you would like any further clarification.
