    OK, this time it worked. It caused some odd effects with the normal menu, but I was able to fix those with some custom CSS

    Thanks for the help.

    I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work though. Maybe it is because we are using Shopstar premium?

    I was unable to find library/template-parts/header-layout-centered.php

    I found library/template-parts/header-centered.php and tried adding your code to that, but it made no difference

    But also the option to disable search in the header customiser options is not available in our version of Shopstar

    Please let me know what I should try next
