In reply to: how to indent bullet pointsThanks for your suggestions. I’ve tried both and what happens is the widgets also get indented. so now my categories which are in the tabber tabs widget are being indented and my Apiki WP FAQs widget is indented with a bullet as well. I pasted the code in the style sheet under the section titled “General Rules” and I’m wondering if there might be a different spot where I should place the code.

In reply to: [Plugin: Tabber Tabs Widget] fix height and add scrollbarHi Ju – thanks for your response. It seems that with all my playing around I actually figured it out. the site is cancertreatmenttoday.org. The last bit of trouble I’m having is with the Collapsing Categories plugin. Can’t seem to figure out how to change the icons so that they look like the plugin’s author’s site at robfelty.com. i posted a not in the support forum for the plugin but haven’t gotten a response. have you worked with Collapsing Categories?

In reply to: center image in text widgetThat’s amazing! Thank you so much for your help. I wasn’t sure if it was an issue with my theme or if it was just a styling issue that the theme developer wouldn’t care to help with. Thanks for the fix. It’s now working perfectly.

In reply to: Embedding YouTube Video – Only Link Appearsnot sure if your theme maybe came with a shortcode to embed video. but maybe you need to use a plugin? I use Artiss YouTube Embed which is very simple to use.

In reply to: [Collapsing Categories] [Plugin: Collapsing Categories] expand on hoverThanks so much, Manfer. Yes, that was it. I am definitely bookmarking this one. It works perfectly! And what a perfect plugin for what I needed.
I was able to figure out how to do this. I created 2 parent categories – layperson and professional. I put all my categories as sub- and subsubcategories within these parent categories. Then I created one list of categories where I made the parent category “layperson” auto-expand, I then included the category “layperson” as the only category to display and I unchecked the box so that I’m not showing top level categories. It worked like a charm. The only thing that I struggled with was realizing that the slug should be used when indicating which categories to include or exclude. Hoping this will help someone else at some point.
