Friends! I was also unable to update my posts and pages although I have been using this kinda editor on wordpress.com but that is very simple and good and this gutenberg one has totally pushed down our sites to zero as we have not been able to update the site for many days. I think it is a good change but not everyone can run after diagnosing and solving themes’ and plugins’ compatibility kind of issues. Not everyone has that much technical knowledge; at least I don’t have. I have just installed a plugin “Disable Gutenberg” by Jeff Starr and tada I am back to my old editor. At least now I can update and do my work. You better do the same without wasting your time on looking for this and that kind of compatibility stuff. Hope this works for many.

Same here. My editor is not allowing me to type anything. The cursor moves itself to left hence, breaking the typing sequence. Pressing the enter button at any point is not working. The enter is always being inserted in the beginning of the editor.They have tried copying wordpress.com editor with no unqiue, new good stuff.
We are not able to update our websites so please kindly respond and help.

Yes yoast is activated in extensions.

Can you kindly tell me where I can find “performance” ?

Yes I always clear cache after every edit.
Now I have inserted the read more tags.
Also I add posts into respective categories so they can be found on category pages. Kindly recommend if this is the right way or not.

@michael! I am getting the full posts instead of excerpts. I was using the code mentioned above, but not in child theme so after the update, it has been all erased and when I tried pasting the code again, it is not working and showing he excerpts. Yes! I used to write excerpts myself in the excerpt box.

I just deleted the theme and re-installed it. Right now, it is working fine with no more error showing. It might have been a temporary error.

The page isnt working. 500 server error. However, the page started to work after changing the theme.

When I had enabled the media attachment in the beginning, all the images appearing as attachment urls got indexed by google as separate pages. I think this creates the issue of thin pages as well.

hi i am facing the same issue although i just launched my site and it was written that it is live now. The coming soon feature is deactivated.
