The redirection rule has been removed in the MainWP version 4. You can check the login redirect doc and add a custom code snippet to set the custom after login redirection rule.

yes, if you enable the auto-update feature and mark the MainWP Child Plugin as “trasted” your MainWP Dashboard will update the Plugin. Please check this help document.

mainwp_cronupdatescheck_action (Schedule: every minute) is the cron job that executes the Auto Updates.
Regarding the Uptime Robot, as much as I know, it can’t ping sites on localhost setups so some other 3rd party tool would be needed as a replacement if you don’t visit your dashboard daily.

The MainWP is not designed nor fully tested for WP MS. At this moment, we don’t have plans to support WP MS installations. However, if that function is needed for your setup you or a Developer could create a custom Extension to handle that feature for you using the MainWP Codex.
