In reply to: Random Linked Image Generator not workingSure, that would be in the form of a template into your theme. And before you do that you should implement a child theme, activate it and then put your template in the child theme.

In reply to: Random Linked Image Generator not workingBy default scripts cannot be run from within the WordPress editor. You have to somehow allow it to run there or put it into a template or enqueue it properly is the best practice.

In reply to: Fatal Error on Line 59I use GoDaddy hosting, so I went into my FTP Manager and deleted my themes,
Seems the spacious theme still is present., it’s in the error message
I probably would install theme TwentyFifteen manually via FTP manager, if it’s not there.. And rename the
\spacious\
folder to take it out of play …And then the error should be gone and you can figure out what happened to your spacious theme

In reply to: sharing to social media problemIn the past I have encountered similar situation. And have been able to save the facebook post as a draft. Then edit the draft and change the photo to the correct one.
It’s not really a WordPress question, Facebook does whatever they want with their user interface and API.

In reply to: Importing of old wordpress.com sitehttps://my.bluehost.com/hosting/help/2361
bluehost have just given me these instructions but I don’t know if this is part of what I should be doing ?
I believe this does not apply to migrations from WordPress.com
I then went into my new domain at https://www.beerandcroissants.com (which brings up the blog with nothing in it) and went into Site Admin and into the .org dashboard.
Bottom line – still no blog on .org.
So it seems you do have a blog on bluehost, right? I just contains one post, “Hello World”
https://www.beerandcroissants.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress&step=2
Is it possible it is getting stuck at step 2 ?
Where did this come from? The instructions I said probably don’t apply? Or maybe you are importing a bad file?
At this point I would suggest you login to WordPress.com and make a new export file. Then login to bluehost and import that file. Under Tools>Import you should see:
WordPress Install the WordPress importer to import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.
So install the importer and it should come up like this:
Howdy! Upload your WordPress eXtended RSS (WXR) file and we’ll import the posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags into this site.
Choose a WXR (.xml) file to upload, then click Upload file and import.
And so then you choose the latest file you exported from www.ads-software.com and away you go.

In reply to: comments on posts on dashboardSo if I make a second wordpress that means I have to make a completely separate login etc?
Yes, and it’s probably better because there will be no way your team can mess up the company site. And it can be really easy, you make it so they can create their own account and password and you really don’t have to duplicate the first set of accounts.
Does one of those equate to single.php?
Most likely you can make a copy of page.php and name it single.php If you want to post here the contents of your page.php, enclosed in backticks, I’ll check it.

No errors. This is what I got.
But this confirmation seems to indicate you imported them into WordPress.com?

In reply to: Can't add Custom Link to Menu – WP 4.2.2.I had evolve 3.3.0 on one of my sites, I double checked and the categories and custom links menus do open and I added a category link.
Has it previously been OK? Or now the first time you attempt?
How about with default theme TwentyFifteen and all plugins deactivated? even the ones that aren’t extra.
Also maybe some plugin you previously had activated did not deactivate cleanly?
This is very strange, I’m reaching now, Another possibility, have some capability been removed from your role?
