Hello, Richard.
I disabled all sliding popouts in Product Layout, which increased page performance to some extent.
I also believe that the poor Page Speed rating may be due to Product Layouts code’s interaction with LiteSpeed page caching.
However, I think that comparing the problem to the WooCommerce Gutenberg Product Blocks, i.e., Products by Categories, is the ideal approach for you to better review it. Doing an A/B sort of test with two similar pages with an identical number of products on each, one with your Product Layouts and the other with WooCommerce Gutenberg Product Blocks by Categories, would be a better alternative than me sending you screenshots.
My observations are limited to comparing WooCommerce Gutenberg products by categories to product layouts. The Google Page Speed scores decreased dramatically when I removed my WooCommerce Gutenberg Product Blocks from my homepage and replaced it with the Product Layout plugin.

Additionally, it would be advantageous to have the capability to generate a Category Layout.
This would be advantageous in enhancing a Product Layout on the same webpage. I have not discovered any work around to transform a Product Layouts into Category Layouts.
If a work around exists, please do inform me.Update: WPMU installation configuration of Product Layout
Product Layout must be enabled for each sub-site individually. From the Network Admin interface, it cannot be Network Activated. At least in my circumstance, global activation was not possible.
Update the installation instructions to clarify WPMU activation.

In reply to: [Phoenix Media Rename] Does not seem to work with WPMUHello Cross
I’m simply really busy. Regret the delayed response.
Yes, I have the progressive number feature enabled; however, that is not the issue.
I also update photos using the “Media Library Assistant” plugin, which is a lifesaver. The issue is that “Phoenix Media Rename” is only somewhat compatible with it.
Phoenix Media Rename does not function when Media Library Assistant is also installed when attempting to rename multiple photos. However, I came up with a fix by manually renaming them when using Phoenix Media Rename and sequentially renumbering each image beforehand.
You might not want to look into a fix for that. It’s up to you whether you think working independently with Phoenix Media Rename is advantageous.
However, I’m closing this ticket as the problem is resolved, for me.
I’m content using my simple work around.
Thanks for the support.

The DolphinGuyRichard,
Thanks for getting back to me. Problem resolved.
I will write more later how and also recommendations to update your installation instructions for Multisite users.
For now, I just wanted to mark this thread resolved so not to alarm others.
I’ll update it again in the next few days.
Thanks for your support.

The DolphinGuyRichard,
There looked to me as if there was a 500 critical error with the /admin-ajax.php on the second image when attempting to create a Product Layout in the console image I sent you.
You don’t think that has anything to do with the page hanging up?
LouieHi Richard,
The screenshot should be available now.Sorry for my late reply, I’m traveling and in the GMT+7 timezone right now.
If you can produce a fix, I run 50 websites on Multisite and would be happy to beta test any fix or advance release you might have.
Thanks,
LouieBTW: I’m installing on a WordPress Multisite that runs LiteSpeed. However, it hasn’t seemed to be any problems with other plugins.
Hi Richard,
Thanks for getting back to me. Here’s the Developer Console errors.
First image is just opening the Product Layout page. Second image is attempting to create a new product layout.

Hope that helps! Great looking program, hope I can use it soon.
