I am having a similar problem, but when I try replacing:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-alt-php56___lsphp .php

with
AddHandler application/x-httpd-alt-php80___lsphp .php

I get a critical error message. Any thoughts?

Hey Matt, I have received verification from PayPal that we are now set up to take direct cc payments, however I am still getting the error message.

Live API credentials should be up.

I have turned off all the plugins and am still getting the error message. However, when poking around in PayPal, it looks like I did not enable the feature that allows me to directly accept payments via cc. I have enabled that feature, but it requires some sort of verification by Paypal. Once I get confirmation of the feature being enabled, I will test again and we can go from there, I guess.

Thanks for your help with this. I just wish I knew why I’m not receiving your emails.

Hey Matt, I have checked my spam, trash and inbox and unfortunately, I don’t have any emails from Give except for the confirmation emails for my tickets.

A: I did submit a ticket on Wednesday. I have no way of checking on the status of the ticket when logged into Give so I posted in the forums after not hearing back from anyone in 24 hours. I will resubmit a ticket now though.

@chriswiegman – Will this new version stop screwing with my .htaccess file and randomly giving me 500 Internal server errors?

I really liked the plugin until I realized it was the cause of sites randomly crashing. There isn’t a plugin that does everything this one does – i just wish it didn’t give me such headaches.

I have this problem intermittently ALL THE TIME! It’s really very annoying. The authors need to get their act together and offer a bug fix or something b/c it’s starting to get to the point where i’m looking for another security plugin.

I am getting the same plugin error and have been for a few weeks now. Any thoughts?

Nevermind. Figured it out!

I’m having the same problem here and just like Lizzan said, atorrenos fixes didn’t do anything.

I tried reuploading the WP on the other sites that were messed up and they are all working perfectly now. I’m going to try again with the first one and see if it just didn’t “take” the first time. Thanks so much for your help!

yes. Keep in mind this is only a problem on a few of the many sites I run all using the same theme and wordpress. Chrome is my default browser. But it’s something inside the WP install not the browser.

I added the code and there’s no change.
