In reply to: Can't log in to my WordPress websiteDid you use the lost password option?
Yes, but it doesn’t work. When I click “Lost your password?” nothing happens.
Hello Nick,
No, I’m not a Pro Google Maps user.
Yes, there was an error message saying that it may be a conflict with other plugins. But I know that it wasn’t a conflict with other plugins because on my other website I updated all the plugins except for the Google Maps one and the map works fine.
I don’t have a link to the error message. I solved the problem by downgrading to version 5.25
Thanks,
Sarah
Hi Carol,
The same thing happened to me. I can confirm that the problem is with the WP Google Maps plugin itself. Another website that I have where I didn’t upgrade this plugin the map is working perfectly there.

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Dynamic Widgets plugin does not work for pages optionHi,
I got your message. I tried what you said with the pages_module.php file and the problem is not fixed.
I tried deleting the plugin and re-installing it and this does also not solve the problem. What can I do to make it go back to normal?
Thanks,

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Dynamic Widgets plugin does not work for pages optionThanks for your reply. I’m not sure I am technically savvy enough to figure out what you are saying needs to be done.
All I know is that last week it worked perfectly. I was using all those plugins at the time, including Recent Posts Plus. I didn’t log in to my website for a few days due to other work I had. It was just today that I noticed the “Except the following pages” feature does not work.
How do I add a screenshot here to show you? It used to have a list of all my pages (about 8 of them) and now none of them are shown, i just have a yes or no option as I listed in the post above.
What’s interesting is that this problem does not affect widgets that were already placed in their positions to selected pages using Dynamic Widgets. Those are working fine. It just makes it impossible to use this feature when creating new widgets.
Is the work that you describing withe the plugin install directory difficult? Would someone like me be able to do it? I’m just starting on WordPress since January but have mastered some of its key aspects.

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] Dynamic Widgets plugin does not work for pages optionThanks for your reply. The plugin was working perfectly until today. I have not installed any new plugins. All the plugins that I have now were the same ones that I was using when the plugin worked perfectly.
Here’s a list of plugins that I’m using:
BlackStudio Tiny MCE
Contact Form 7
Recent Posts Plus
Remove Widget Titles
Shortcodes Ultimate
TinyMCE Advanced
WP Google MapsThank you very much Nick. I was looking for Russian. I used ru as the code and it works perfectly! I love this plugin.
Thanks again,
SarahHi Nick,
Thanks for your reply. I was referring to the language used on the actual map itself so that when you look at the map the geographical labels would be in another language. For example, when you look at Google Maps you can see maps in other languages depending on which version of Google you are looking at. Just to give you an example, looking at maps on google.ru displays the maps in Russian.
I am looking forward to your reply.
Sarah
I figured out the problem. I had to not only empty the old tables but delete them completely before re-installing WordPress.
Thanks for your reply. I am trying to install it to a remote host.
Someone suggested re-installing WordPres.
I did this and then when I ran the install script I got the message “WordPress is already installed. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first.”
Then I cleared all the old database tables. When I reinstalled then I got another message saying that the tables were needing to be repaired. I did this and it keeps saying the same thing over again.
How do I attach a screenshot to show on the forum?
Thanks,
Sarah
