In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] WP 4.0 – ERROR: Please enter your password.I’ve had to resort to do the same thing, however, I do not like the fact that these accounts could potentially log in with their AD password or the random password that is created for them.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] WP 4.0 – ERROR: Please enter your password.brasselleg did you ever find a solution to this problem outside of switching back to the older version of PHP?

In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] ERROR: Please enter your password.I am still having the exact same problem with this. So far the only solution has been to disable the plugin, create the user and then reenable the plugin. However, that means that when I create the user I have to set a password for the ‘local’ user that gets created. Once the plugin is reenabled then the user can log in with either the local password or the AD password. This does obviously not a solution. I am surprised noone else is having this problem.

In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] ERROR: Please enter your password.I really need some help here, I’ve turned on debugging on the site and have not noticed anything out of the ordinary. What else can I do to figure out why this is happening on this version of PHP?

In reply to: [Active Directory Integration] WP 4.0 – ERROR: Please enter your password.JChambo, I entered in the information on the “Base DN” setting as you suggested but I am still experiencing the same problem. I also noticed the issue after we upgraded to PHP 5.4.
I hsould mention however that I have two websites with multi-site turned on and they are not having any problems at all, it is just the single website with multi-site turned off.
Thanks.

In reply to: Database connection problem.esmi:
– We host our own installation. as far as I can tell there are no errors on the httpd logs either that would hint at anything relation to this.
– Have not tried deactivating the plugins since nothing was updated prior to the problem showing up but I will give that a try and post back.
– switching themes may be tricky as some items may actually break/stop working on the site. Since this is a live site. We’ll see how we can test this out.
Thanks

This works, thank-you. I’m glad I asked as I wouldn’t have known how to fix this one.
Thanks again.

In reply to: Can't access children sites after website location was movedOk I solved the first problem. I looks like I had failed to copy the .htaccess file at the root of the site, looks like the command I ran above does not copy ‘hidden’ files.
However, I am still having problems with the second issue which is that if I change the name of the first admin user I can not log in to the ‘network admin’ part of the site. I do not have other admin users to test and see if they can log in and see the network part of the site.
Any ideas?

In reply to: Hierarchical multiple sitesThank-you!, I will look into this.
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Hierarchical multiple sitesAndrea_r: that is exactly why I asked about that. I need to separate the administration of each site since different people will be administering those different websites. But at the end there would still be one person in account that could administer Receivables and Payables.
So does this mean that wordpress does not support this functionality?
