just logging in or out to phpmyadmin doesnt corrupt databases.. check your databases.. its not a prob of wordpress at all.. however you may change db details in wp-config file if you make new dbs or change user permission and passwords

seems like you installed wordpress in sub directory before and now moving to the root.. or there are files in the root from your previous site..

1) remove all “YOUR” files (which you uploaded in the root previously) better backup before delete..

2) download fresh wordpress… unzip on your computer.. upload all the files straight to the server without involving the wordpress folder.. the wordpress files include .htaccess

3) enter your db details and get a fresh install.. it SHOULD work now !

I dont think so theres such feature or plugin available.. since i suppose you are an admin.. so change the password and be that user whos comments you wanna edit.. then use;

info check if your database isnt got corrupted.. otherwise backup wp-content and get a re install..

there could be several issues that point to the same problem..

your host might have done some up gradation and directory/file permissions might be messed up… so check the theme folder/files permissions.. folders normally get 755 while the files have 666.. contact your host support for that..

if nothing goes well.. you can use an ftp client to upload the theme folder again..

check if your dns is pointing correctly
check the page source if its showing anything..
check if you have .htaccess in place..
check all file permissions..

wordpress security scan plugin might tell you where you are getting it wrong.. there has to be some file permission prob as far as i think
