Many thanks for feedback.
Yes. WPML is not supported yet.
Hello Abehoyos
the Event ticket with ticket scanner is having QR code images. All the tickets are coming with a qr code on it. You can then use the ticket scanner page, where a QR reader allows you to scan the QR code on the PDF ticket or on the ticket detail page (maybe shown to you on their mobile). This allows you to scan and redeem the ticket using the QR code.
The serial code validator plugin has also the option to have event tickets, but you need to have woocommerce installed. Then the option will appear. You can sell a normal product as a ticket and the QR code will be printed on the PDF ticket. You also have the qr code sanner to redeem the ticket. The “Event ticket with ticket scanner” plugin is a spin off from the “Serial code validator” plugin.

Hello Abehoyos
I do not know this other plugin so I am not sure.
But my plugin has some hooks, that could be used maybe. But what are you looking for? I might be able to add this to my plugin.
For now your customer get a PDF ticket with a QR Code on it.
You can scan this QR code at the entrance, by using the built in ticket scanner page. Even on your mobile and redeem the tickets while the enter your event.Hope this helps
Hello
please write to our support email address.
The forum is only for short questions.
Not video , no image, no private information etc can be shared.Hello Andrius380
if you go to the admin area and open the details of the serial code, then at to top there are 2 buttons to render the QR code.
The second button can contain an URL (to be set in the options).
To make the URL that way it prefill the validation form go with:
https://www.mywebsite.com/validation/?code={CODE}&action=validateThen go back to the code and click on the second button. You will see the QR code image with the URL in it. The URL is also displayed above the QR code image.
The QR code image can not be placed for now to the purchase email. If this it what you were looking for.
Hello, there is no QR Code image stored on your server. It is just displayed. You can save then the image to your file system on your computer or mobile phone and send it to someone. This feature is created to print the QR Code and have it where your customer can scan it.
The QR Code is not for sale, nor can you add it as a product in your woocommerce store. It is just to support you with your marketing effort.
Hope this helps.
Hello Engbok
I do not know why you keep opening for the same question tickets here.
You wrote me on my support email address and I answer you always the same.
Please do not expect me to keep track an the emails an here. The premium plugin DOES NOT delete your codes.
If you deactivate it, you see them again – You confirmed this already to me.I offered you already 3 times, that I can log on your system and inspect the issue. You told, that you will come back to me after your venue.
I guess that another plugin is harming the communiction between the basic and premium plugin. You seem to be the only one with this issue.
So please, if you can give me access to your wordpress, I might can analyze the issue and provide a fix.For your new problem:
I need more details.
Did you create the codes upfront?
Did you add them to a code list? (You can only assign code lists to products)
Did you activate in the options to re-use free codes from that code list for your product sales?Hello engbok
I just released an optimized version.
Maybe the ticket scanner issue is gone with it.
I noticed, that if the ticket QR code was scanned, even after the detection, it would not load the ticket sometimes. This is fixed now with 2.3.10.Hello engbok
The ticket scanner should also work with the free plugin.
Once the premium plugin is added and activated, the codes are not to disappear. No whipping of the data is implemented.
Best is to write us an email at [email protected] and we can arrange a hands-on check.
Yes, you need the API.
The hooks would be helpful, if you would have planned to develop a small API for yourself. It requires also development knowledge.
The serial code validator allows you to check if the serial is still valid and not expired. The usage of the serial is not added, since this is an individual process depending on the product.
The best is to try out the free plugin first, and if the validation features are what you were looking for. If this is confirmed, then the API will be useful for you.
Hello fmeneuhe
you can check out the premium plugin for Serial Code here:
https://vollstart.de/serial-codes-validator-premium/The API plugin will be a seperated premium plugin, since it is different and a lot of additional work.
In case you need just hooks, then you can check out the documentation here:
https://vollstart.de/serial-codes-validator-premium/docs/Cheers
SasoHi,
yes we have an API. It is a premium plugin addon.
For now we are still in testing and plan to realease it next month. You will be able to create tokens for different callers and control also which functionaltiy can be used. Performing the validation is also included.
I will post the URL here, once it is released. All other premium plugin customers will also be notified.
Cheers
