SWITCH OVER FAST! ipower support is clueless, i had to repeat and rephrase an htaccess issue i had several times until someone understood it. another issue was with shopsite, they are using an ancient version that even has a 2008 copyright at the bottom! they also complain about excessive mysql usage.
be aware that ipower is owned by endurance group international. they own tens of “hosting companies” but it’s all the same under different brands.
try your luck finding reviews at webhostingtalk.com, a lot of it is BS. as for my own experience, there i found wiredtree.com and databasebydesignllc.com for vps and dedicated servers, and i absolutely love them.
i’m only struggling with ipower shared hosting because of a few stubborn clients. but this finally convinced them to get small server ??
