I have done all steps mentioned in your reply except:
1) Talk to my Host
2) Web Application Firewall

Some IP ranges of the attackers have been blocked repeatedly, >50 times. Wordfence notifies me periodically of the attacks. Some attacks even tried to login my websites without success. I have very strong passwords which are changed periodically.

Although all attacks failed but it is quite annoying.

Do I need to download all images from my website first? After deleling “Cimy Header Image Rotator” plugin and installing “Hot Radom Image” plugin, upload all images back to the website.

Twenty Eleven theme also has image-rotating feature. But the image only changes on changing pages.

Duplicator plugin

I have run it for several years without failure. For large sites either you have to download 2-parts install or you have to pay.

Steps:

Manage Galleries
-> select the gallery

SORT GALLERY
Dragging the images around in the gallery

then -> UPDATE SORT ORDER

Sorry, I meant moving the images around in the same Gallery.

If I need dragging an image to a position above the top menu bar what can I do?

Thanks for your links.

I got it done. It is quite complicate. 

Steps:
On top menu bar
Gallery -> Add Gallery / Images

UPLOAD IMAGES
Gallery [name_of_gallery]

-> [ BROWSE ]
On my computer:-
Pictures -> Selston_20231121
select -> selston01_garden_AiRestore_gimp.jpeg
-> Open

-> [ UPLOAD 1 FILE ]
DONE

-> [ SAVE CHANGES ]

completed. The new image upload to this gallery folder.

How to move the image on the folder to new postion? I can drag to move the image. But if the new position is beyond the top, it won't move up.

Is it selecting the name of that Gallery folder which I need to edit ?
then right-click name of that Gallery folder -> Edit ?

[Select Files]

then the file will be upload to that Gallery folder?

I don’t know what you mean by “header rotation”.

Now I de-activate ‘Hot Random Image’ plugin

and
activate ‘Cimy Header Image Rotator’ plugin

The images on the header of Twenty-Elevent theme are rotating automatically. You can visit the website to see.

Twenty-Elevent theme also has this feature without the plugin. But the images only rotate on changing page.

I have done your advice on the beginning of this posting. It didn’t work. Then I download all images on computer and added them to a new folder on /uploads/year/date. Add the new folder to Hot Random Image, still fail

I have all its images download to my desktop PC via cPanel but I have no glue uploading the images to “Hot Random Image” and making images rotating.

Twenty-Eleven Theme also has the feature rotating images but only on changing page

So the plugin can NEVER put the images in the header… unless you edit your theme’s header.php file and call the plugin’s output function directly there (Note: PHP coding required).

Can you advise how to edit the theme’s header.php file? OR advise me where can I find the relevant document ? Thanks

Just found on

Settings -> Media

Store uploads in this folder [/home/ufth6i821ecd/public_html/hongkong/wp-content/uploads ]

I suppose it was automatically set by WordPress when I created this website

The original images path was found on cPanel via File Manager.

I also made another test, uploading 3 images on wp-content/uploads/2023/10

Still the images can’t be displayed on Header of Twenty-Eleven theme.

Also there is another problem on /Appearance/Widgets. Hot Randam Image icon is not always working. It is only by chance clicking its icon will popup the window shown by you.
