My host is said the following:-
We do white list IP addresses but not for the ports that are globally opened. I further verified and I did not find any error logs or these 2 IP addresses as being blocked in any way by our server so you do have access.
Any other suggestions on why it isn’t working?

Hello Saurabh,
Thank you for the waiting time. The fsockopen php function is enabled by default on all our managed servers. In regards to the first message note we can whitelist that IP only a specific port. Also there is no way to whitelist an URL on our servers. If the domain will trigger any mod_security rule then we will be able to whitelist the entire domain or to disable to problematic rule. Please let us know the port where the above IP needs to be whiteslisted so we can further assist you. We are waiting for your answer.

I’ve gone to the plugin settings.
Clicked Connect.
Pop-up opens for the Social Proxy connection.
I login with my Mailchimp information.
The pop-up closes, and the WP Admin page refreshes, but doesn’t change. It still shows the “Connect” to mailchimp option.I am using Google Chrome.
WP 3.9.1I’m having this issue as well with my website. Any update on how to resolve it?

1. when you deactivate and reactivate, the plugin retains all the settings. YAY!
2. I think it’s my hosting company blocking the email. let me talk to them. should be able to resolve it quickly hopefully. will update and close out the issue asap ??Forum: Plugins

Perhaps verify it’s pulling the email address correctly, and has the correct mail server settings?

under Register Plus Redux, i’ve got the following set up:
Email Verification is unchecked (this is only email to the new user right?)
Admin Verification is checked
Admin Email Notification Disable is unchecked
Custome Admin Email Notification is Enabled (checked)
