I’m having this same problem but am on v.4.3.7. Any other resolutions here? I have opened a support ticket with SkyVerge via WooCommerce.com but have not yet heard back, would be great to be able to try other solutions in the meantime.

I’ve tested this on Mac Chrome, Mac Safari, Win7 IE11 (Virtual) and Win 7 Chrome (Actual PC). I know this is not a caching issue, as the Virtual and Win 7 native machines have never been to any version of the site.

I have the ability to spin up a multi-dev environment that’s an exact replicate of my live site but isn’t actually live and grant CMS access to that environment, which I am comfortable with giving to ThemeHigh. Thank you. I was just able to update and this does fix the issue of the 2nd address field being required in order to submit the form. However, the field still displays an * indicating that it is required even after the update. I can correctly check out without filling out the form but I would like to request a fix for the required indication to be removed when the field is not required.

Following up here again, it’s been almost 3 weeks since my last check-in. Can you please provide an update here? This is getting pretty frustrating.

I wanted to follow up here as this task has been open for a while and I still do not have a way to mark Address 2 as not required. Can you please provide an update on where this is at?

As a follow up, I did implement the change you requested, but it did not have any impact on making the Address 2 field not required. Thank you again for the help and please let me know what else I can provide!

Thank you for the reply, I really appreciate it. I do have a couple questions still though. I’m not following how removing the autofocus on billing first name is going to impact my address 2 field being required, can you please explain that? Also, are you working on a permanent fix for this so that I can utilize your plugin correctly to select whether or not a field is required? Having to add custom coding just to get functionality to work is not a long term solution I would like to rely on.

Hi Josh – Thank you for the reply, that was helpful (we are also running into this same issue). However, I am not seeing any options within the Yoast SEO plugin to configure the location of the sitemap.xml file as you suggest, nor can I find any information online regarding how to do so. Can you please expand upon this?

I still only have this setup in a test environment but all funds are captured at the time of purchase in my test Stripe account.

Inside of the plugin settings you will see this line:

Authorize Only Authorize Only Enable Authorize Only Mode (Authorize & Capture If Unchecked)

I currently have this NOT checked, which means it is in Authorize & Capture mode, which is correctly capturing funds at the time of purchase.

Thanks for the follow up – I wanted to clarify here so that anyone who finds this post can follow. I apparently wasn’t testing this correctly when I first installed the new plugin (Stripe WooCommerce Plugin, linked above) – it does appear to Capture funds within Stripe right when the order is placed (which is what I want) rather than after I mark an order as Complete within WooCommerce (which is what was happening with the Striper plugin).

Just tried the plugin you mentioned – that one does correctly either Authorize only or Authorize and Capture based on the setting, but there is still no way to Capture the funds up front that I can see. Thanks for the tip though!
