please explain to me what you meant by “images don’t redirect”

for me, from the beginning, they weren’t showing the cdn address nor i understand the term redirecting.

i only flushed the cache.

what else do you want me to perhaps look at? htaccess? wpconfig?

the images loads from the cdn, because indeed i have setup cloudfront and its deployed correctly.

did you try to set wp-optimize alongside aws cdn plugin, and enable caching in the wp-optimize on your own site?

what do you mean “when i tested from WPAdmin” ?

i am now sure the cloudfront is not working for images, because i refreshed the amazon invoice and i don’t see any charge for the cloudfront, so it means its not servering.

yes of course, and not only that.

i went into amazon cloudfront, disabled, waited 15 min
then did enable,
went back to wp-optimize and cleared the cache.

1. do you currently see the images being loaded from cloudfront or the local server? i couldn’t understand where they load from
2. maybe you can download wp-optimize and see how is the reaction on your end

because i removed them, since google page insights said without its faster.

did you ever see such instance where google page insights says page speed is faster without the cloudfront?

when i checked google page insights, i saw that my page load score is faster without the cdn, how is that possible?

* i do use plugin to make lazy loading of images, could that be related?

can you try on your end if it works, basically this plugin allows me to post to several facebook groups, and the XS cookie sometimes changes, and i would like to have an option to change that field in the table directly, but couldn’t access the table of that plugin for some reason …

In the CDN DOMAIN / CNAME box, add d2ioqhlf5kyv3d.cloudfront.net OR cdn.saveatrain.com
If you plan to use custom domain name, you will have to add a CNAME entry in your DNS pointing cdn.saveatrain.com to d2ioqhlf5kyv3d.cloudfront.net
