I’m not sure if I’ve assigned points to anything as of yet.. To assign points to a specific product instead of globally, do I need the pro version of the plugin?

Also, could you confirm what you mean by “other events”. I have enabled the signup points option, does this mean users will not be able to see how many points will be awarded?

I’ve just gone back inside the wizard and can see we have selected CCPA / United States. I don’t see any option to set this banner as default, however I do see this below:

“The plugin will apply the above-selected region’s settings to all visitors worldwide. If you want to dynamically apply privacy laws based on the visitor’s location, consider upgrading to the premium version, which allows you to apply a privacy law specific for that region.”

I assume this means the US banner is already set as default?

I’ve added the code and it’s worked as suggested. I’m curious though, why is this even a thing? Why have WooCommerce added this to disable author pages for the Customer user role? I’m not sure what benefit this has..

The website I’m using to stage this issue is a brand new, clean instance with nothing installed on there apart from WooCommerce.

This particular instance is on Cloudways, however the original issue also happened on a website hosted with SiteGround.

Hi guys, I’m still actually experiencing problems with this WooCommerce redirect.

The Loom videos in the comments above show testing being carried out on a Real Evolution Training (RET) staging website. The issue we were experiencing there, was a redirect to the homepage. After removing any code from the Snippets plugin, the issue still persisted and we reset the database. This then stopped the homepage redirect, but in exchange for a “Shop” redirect.

I have since set up a clean installation of WordPress and tested the issue again. WooCommerce still seems to be redirecting the “Customer” user role to the “Shop” page, and I have no idea why.

Hey Gabriel, thanks for responding.

I tried this, but unfortunately this didn’t resolve the issue. To confirm, I installed and activated the “Storefront” theme, I disabled all plugins except WooCommerce and tried to open an Author profile again. No change unfortunately.
