that function is part of your answer, i’m sure you can do the rest?

pass in the name of the blog (taken from url)

get_blog_id_from_url(“maindomain.com”,”/”.$sitename.”/”)

note: mutlisite uses extra tables for each new blog
as in wp_siteid_posts

so my SQL looks like this:
SELECT post_content,post_title, guid
FROM wp_”.$blogID.”_posts
order by ID desc
limit 5″;

but wp_tag_cloud function does not take a blog site in the parameters?

which i’m confused HOW it works on the blogs in the widget?

its wasn’t hard, but it works for what i need.

and basically only run /tweaked this part of the case statement:

FYI. this is a new site, new blogs, etc. creating everything first — adding content 2nd.

say for example:
i have https://www.all-animals.com

now i know there are 500 animals i want to start with and each have their own blog. also, want to organize (my own reasons) in different directories (ie. not all being off the root)

so, i wish i could automate the manual few steps to do this:

the point about the subdirectories, i would like to have any names/level deep/etc that i want… not all be at the root.

oh…. i’m using my 1st one (main) as the template.
it has all the plugins, settings, etc. that i want all the others to have.

i’m using YD Network-wide options and that is working out great!
