Hello again!
I’ve checked the guides but all speak of ngnix or apache servers. I have Litespeed server, but it has been working correctly in the past months I was using the plugin, and few weeks ago I noticed this problem because differente customers were telling that there was the 404 error.
I’ve only recently found out about the change in the .htaccess file when the /it it requested.
I’ve saved the permalinks but it still doesn’t work… it changes the htaccess to the one I’ve written in the past post.

How can I proceed?

Sorry for the delay in answering but I got a little bit busy =)

I’ve tried to find out what was wrong but I’ve switched security plugin as it was becoming a little hard to find out the culprit and now I don’t get any error.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to resolve the issue even disabling alla the plugins and having only WF installed, in fact as I, with only WF installed get the same error, and after disabling it, even with just 1 plugin installed, I was able to login.
The weird thing is that with WF installed it changes the role to none, but in the users list in the backend of my admin account, I can see that the last login was successful. It Dows change the user too, where it removes the nickname, and sets the 2FA status to “Not Allowed”.
It is very veird, because it does that with only WF installed.

I’ve checked the consolle but I don’t get any JS error.

Can you please help me finding out the problem? Otherwise I’d have to change security plugin, but I like WF very much.

Yes, tried that too. I have LiteSpeed caching and Cloudflare… did clear them all

Did you manage to find out the cause of the Url change error?

Here’s the error it comes to me: “Looks like the URL of your site has changed. In order to continue using Site Kit, you’ll need to reconnect, so that your plugin settings are updated with the new URL. Reconnect”

This happens every time I hit translate and change language to translate a text.

I’ve contacted the hosting service but they said there could be a problem with the installation and they need a “clean” .htaccess as they say it could be the problem of this, but I can’t reset the file as I have different plugins which write security-related features on it.

I’ve added the code you advised in the link into the .htaccess.

Do you have any idea on how I can resolve the issue?

I’ve noticed that there’s another kind of bug in the plugin: when switching language to translate (the website.com/IT for example) then Google SiteKit resets saying that the website URL has changed.

Thanks for your help! I’ve troubleshoot the Plugins section and I found that the plugin “Essential Addons for Elementor” with the “Fancy Text” option, which basically act as a typewriter and changes the text with different passed values.
