… although this doesn’t fix the problem completely, meaning you have to keep this plugin enabled. Is there anything else I can do since I do not have FTP access to this site?

RESOLVED!

Simply installed the plugin Wp htaccess Control and activated it. Now the site works again. Hope this helps anyone else with the same problem.

Even if I change the front page to a page that works, accessing it through the domain doesn’t show a page just gives me the page isn’t redirecting properly error.

Kind of important for me to get this site back up, any ideas, without the access of the FTP and just using a file browser plugin and/or php to try to maybe revert back to an older version of wordpress? Thanks.

Never mind, using News Magazine Theme, antinews is just a theme we had installed as well just never used, thought it was.

Same theme I’m dealing with and the front page doesn’t work.

Haven’t tried it yet… so I am still open to suggestions. If this works it’s all I need then.
