Never mind, deactivated plugin (without deleting plugin data by selecting ‘No’), then reactivated. Solved.

In reply to: [WP-CMS Post Control] Parse error on upgradeYou are welcome jonnyauk, I assumed it had something to do with what PHP I am running under.

In reply to: [WP-CMS Post Control] Parse error on upgradeWhat kind of hosting is everyone using? I am using godaddy linux shared hosting (not the 4GH hosting, the legacy I believe). Not sure what version php, or if any of that matters, just some thoughts for the author of the plugin. I can turn on/off plugins if needed to see because the plugin is on a website I don’t have currently enabled for the public.

In reply to: [WP-CMS Post Control] Parse error on upgradeAnother important note, this error doesn’t allow activation of the plugin.

In reply to: Text Widget data not showingJust decided to cut and paste the data over into the missing widget areas since I couldn’t get the data to recognize by changing any of the numbers (spent less time obviously doing that then researching everything, will know better to keep backups myself since my host doesn’t).
I still rather know a working way to get this data to recognize, as there are some settings from a plugin affected as well, which I believe has serialized data. Wonder if wordpress is having issues with serialized data in general with the latest version of wordpress.
Suppose a resource that talks about serialized data would be helpful in general as I question how wordpress is doing it.

In reply to: Text Widget data not showingUnfortunately I did not like I was going to and my host does not either. The text widget data however is there, but no solution that was made for this issue is working anymore that I have come across. Even tried doing a hack to the functions.php under includes on wordpress but got an error doing so.

In reply to: Text Widget data not showingWhich is exactly what messed up everything. I’m afraid to revert to what I had because the word site is more common then just site2.

In reply to: Text Widget data not showingWell the problem is, everything has been altered already so I have to trouble shoot what the issue is.
Here is a pastebin of the widget data from the db. I am not sure how it serializes, if it counts spaces or not or just the characters. If that is the case, then some of it may be wrong due to that.
I had updated from 1.9.13 to 2.0.7 today and it wouldn’t display any of the galleries under the albums, stated “no galleries” or a message similar. Had updated an album while in 2.0.7, rolled back to 1.9.13 since the plugin still has some work to be done. However that made all my galleries get wiped out in the album, so I had to spend the last hour and a half redoing the album with galleries.
Other main reason I didn’t use 2.0.7 was that the nextgen button in the editor was popping up with a blank white screen so it wasn’t functioning properly either to insert galleries/albums/photos.
@photocrati – That is good news. And I am sure everyone appreciates the hard work on the plugin, as we should be patient. Thank you.
@photocrati – In the latest beta has the disappearing navigation menu been figured out?
