In reply to: Child Theme not Working with Esteem Templateps specifically I’m not getting menu layout and overall body / wrapper layout that I’m wanting and that was in the parent theme…..thanks!
Stephenps…. so the question is, “how do we achieve this effect?” Thanks again,
StephenHere’s what I’d like to do:
For my band’s website, we have a single front page image that will take up the entire screen, with a couple of buttons on it. When people click on the buttons, they are taken to one of our web pages, which is organized like a regular web page / blog. The address is shokazoba.net If you go there you will see what the “regular” web page will look like (more or less, regular WP style – header, 2 column, etc etc). The look we’re going for on our front page is very different from the “regular” pages’ appearance……the front page will be more of a “gateway” page. For another band’s example of the effect we’re looking for, go to:
https://www.antibalas.com/ to see their front page and click on “Security” to be taken to their “regular” pages.Does this make sense?
I hope so, thanks!

In reply to: Admin Link goes to defunct urlOK, I tried that. However, here is the problem: When I mouse over my “Admin” link at the bottom of my page (I’m using Misty Ocean Template) the url that comes up at the bottom of my browser is an old address to an old site. I need my “Admin” link to point to my current address. Right now the only way I can get to my Admin page (Dashboard) is by manually typing in my new address and then /wp-admin after it.
Make any sense?
thanks,

In reply to: I can’t see changes that I make to my homepageYes, I already emptied the browser cache. The changes I make are made using the admin and saved afterwards. The changes are seen in the browser, but then if I go to my website on a different computer the changes are not there. Not sure how to disable wp cache plugins?

In reply to: Please Help – Can’t See Website UpdatesMoshu – I think it’s in the root.
If you want to see the wierdness, my username is admin my password is ****
Watch what happens when you go to my admin, and THEN visit the site through my admin. The home page changes – now there’s a Welcome! and a “send an email” option, and the Location and Hours has a bunch of stuff including a google map. This is all of the stuff I want people to see, but the original address, https://www.stephenjbradley.com is directing them to the old, barren data.
thx
