So far, all my sites seems to be working again after updating to 3.56.
It would normally fail when I try to access via admin.
If it helps, I’m running PHP versions 7.4.33, ?8.2.13, 8.1.26
We’ll see if it stays viable in the long run.I’m not the only one this has happened to. And it’s happening multiple times on several of my sites that use nextgen. It’s real.
I uploaded 3.41 and that fixes the problem I was having, unfortunately the plugin updates to 3.55 even though auto updates is not chosen.
I give up. Moved on to another calendar plugin.
BTW, I’ve searched all over and have yet to find the full list of fullcalendar shortcode options.
I finally got events to show up but no categories or color differentiation.
[fullcalendar type=”event-categories” category=”17,18,19,20,21″][fullcalendar type=”event” category=”1,2,3,4,5″] shortcode doesn’t work either
I guess I’ll just have to duplicate the event as a post.

Finally installed the “add from server” plugin
It’s a great work-around solution.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Postie] [Plugin: Postie] Categories selection not functioningI have the same problem with the categories not being picked up.
They are removed from the subject line but the category gets set to the default. It’s too bad because this was a major improvement over the original post to email plugin.
