In reply to: [Bing Custom Search for WordPress] Bing Custom Search portal statisticsI don’t think so. When did you activate the Bing Statistics Add-in? Looks like it can take a day or so before you see data.
From the Bing Docs:
“It may take up to 24 hours for metrics to surface on the dashboard. The dashboard shows the date and time the data was last updated.”

Let me know if you’re still having issues.

In reply to: [Bing Custom Search for WordPress] Bing search for your site made easy!Thank you for the kind review!
The tabbed UI would work great for this. Here’s what you would do:
1. Create two instances in Bing: one pointing to your internal url, and one pointing to your external. Each instance will then only index the appropriate content.2. Install and active the Piklist plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/piklist/
3. The Bing settings page in WordPress will now be a repeater field where you can add the information for your multiple instances. Once you enter the data you’re all set.
You can even create a third instance in Bing that indexes BOTH internal and external so you can include an ALL option for your search.
Does that make sense?

In reply to: [Bing Custom Search for WordPress] Empty search reverts to internal searchThat seems to be the default behavior for WordPress search… which kinda stinks.
I’ll look into making that better in this plugin.

In reply to: [Bing Custom Search for WordPress] Empty search reverts to internal search@mportelli- I can’t reproduce this.
Since this plugin uses your themes search template, make sure there is a conditional that returns a message that says “No results found”.
If you’re still having an issue, please provide a url to the site which is having the problem.
@mportelli — sorry for the late reply.
There are a few choices here:
1) You can include as many sites as you want for each Bing Search Instance. This way the results are combined into one search.
2) You can use a tabbed interface which allows you to use different Bing Search Instances at once.Let me know if that helps.
@eatingrules — happy to help.

This should be fixed in v1.0.9, which was just released.
Thank you so much! Glad you love Piklist.
