Thanks so much. Yes, I did change the z-index for #masthead to 9995 and the menu appears. We had “Additional Content” at the top which is not currently picking up our styles, so will continue to troubleshoot. I still get the data:, in my URL window whenever I try to select the menu image from the media library, but the setting seems to be holding. I’ll need to work to restore styles, but it’s at least a relief to have the live site functional in mobile.

I sent my login to you via your support page. This should be secure.
Thank you for your great insights!

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Major 3.0.0 UpdateI’ll respond to my own post above. I updated the Responsive Menu plugin on the development host running PHP 5.5 and no problems. I discovered the live site host, bluehost.com was running PHP 5.2. This seemed to be the culprit, so I updated to PHP 5.4 and the plugin runs fine. No thrilled with the web host at the moment, but happy to have the updated plugin! Thank you!

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] Major 3.0.0 UpdateI did get the white screen of death on https://cherrypreschool.org when I updated to 3.0.0. I rolled back to 2.8.9 to restore and will do some due diligence as you suggest… read the commonly asked questions and check with the web host on the PHP version. In the mean time, if you have some insight, I’d appreciated a response.
Got that first go around. Again, a bow of gratitude!
Many thanks, Chad. You were spot on. I did a manual install and all went well. Odd I got a clean install on the dev. site through the dashboard and not on the production site. But I’m good to go. Thanks for your rapid response.

In reply to: Getting 404 error on Next with Themezilla Volumes themeNo luck with that, but thanks. Any other ideas? Not sure what is controlling this next/previous function in my theme.

In reply to: wpbest One Theme Professional broke in v.3.5.1No worries… not seeking support for a commercial product. Just responding to tgrblogger and his experience with a paid theme. More “moral support” for WordPress user as opposed to support for commercial products.

In reply to: wpbest One Theme Professional broke in v.3.5.1I actually found a fix for the theme… discovered that somehow the update to the WP core software did not transfer a particular javascript file, so I ended up locating it and replacing it by hand. But the One Theme Professional theme was a mess… the back end lost all functionality and the “code bloat” is really not the way I am flying. So I’ll not do that again. Starting with a clean “framework” like Twitter Bootstrap and building out what I want is much preferable. Live and learn, eh.
