We had to do some back-end work to solve this one (fortunately my webhost was able to help me figure it out):

Replaced all .js and .css editor resources in wp-includes with new copies using a fresh up-to-date WordPress installation.

2. Re-added the pre-existing entries in the user-settings field of the usermeta database table.

Still not sure what caused the issue, however.

I’ll try that in the wee hours of the morning, though there weren’t any theme updates any time before this problem began. Thanks.

He was able to help me with a css workaround while he updates the theme to use the latest font-awesome, which will take some time since it is, apparently, quite a significant update.

Thanks — I’ve forwarded your note onto the developer so hopefully he can update the theme accordingly.

I haven’t seen any other problems — just the search icon is missing (the search still works though).

WP Jump Menu isn’t working for draft posts. It shows them, but when selected, nothing happens. New version seems to otherwise work well, thanks.

Disregard that last one, thanks. I couldn’t get it to work, so found another plugin that meets my needs. I’ll try it on another post a bit later.

I’m not having luck with this one — nothing shows where the gallery should be — though I’ve copied and pasted the gallery-galleryview.php file from the plugin’s /view directory and into my theme within the /nggallery directory (which already existed in my case). The shortcode I use is:

[nggallery id=9 template=”galleryview”]

And the URL of the page is https://terrain.org/2013/issue-32/kate-protage-urban-canvas/

The gallery should be appearing just below the last full text paragraph. Thoughts?

We are required to get the Google API for this plugin to work, yes? Been a while since I implemented it, so I may not be remembering correctly. Anyway, if so, that’s my “knock,” for what it’s worth — that we have to get the API in the first place. No big deal, I still think the plugin is very helpful.

Kind of hoping not to have to get into the database to see it. Any way to update the email so it includes the full IP?

Is there a way through WordPress to check the full IP, or is that something I have to check in the logs? Thanks.

Checking in to see if there’s a plan to resolve this. Otherwise, alas, I’ll need to stop using what otherwise is a great plugin.
