well didn’t see any where that the post was flagged as spam. since the system didn’t tell me that…kind of hard for me to know that happened.

Thanks! the uninstall and reinstall solved my black settings issue as well!
ok thanks!
Thanks that was a very clear and informative response.
I don’t know if you saw my info about the Optimize tag though? If you can add the Optimize tag manually while using your plugin what would be the best way to do that?

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove render-blocking JavaScript: devicepx-jetpack.jsThanks guys.
Just an FYI, Jetpack response to my post in their support forum was:
It’s surprising; this file is normally loaded in the footer so it would always load after your content.
Could you post your site URL here, so I can have a look?
Sent them my url but still haven’t heard anything beyond the initial response.
Anyway, just tried Frank’s code and it worked fine. What would be the difference between the two?
Not sure if you marked this resolved or I did, but issue is still there and updating this as still “not resolved” because the warning still exists unless I edit the functions.php
Just submitted url via contact-support. On mobile so might there might be typos in url.
Also, had to revert a functions.php change I made to get rid of the warning shortly after I posted the original post here as seen here https://www.wpcub.com/remove-devicepx-jetpack-js-wordpress-blog/
add_action(‘wp_enqueue_scripts’, create_function(null, “wp_dequeue_script(‘devicepx’);”), 20);
Again the above change to functions.php has been reverted so you should see the warning (just checked pagespeed insights and the warning is back).

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Remove render-blocking JavaScript: devicepx-jetpack.jsYeah I figured I’d give you a try first because I honestly don’t expect much help from Jetpack regarding the issue.
Didn’t change anything in Jetpack config. I know their latest update seems to have a ton of issues from reading through their support forum, but didn’t see anything related to this.
It’s just killing me because I spent the last month getting that 98 on pagespeed ??
thanks!
