In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] SMTP “from” not workingHey @qriouslad thanks for the update, unfortunately, though it’s still saying [email protected] instead of [email protected]. I did follow your instructions and re-input my password but to no avail. I also tried deactivating the plugin and reactivating it to see if maybe might help but still nothing lol.

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Password Reset URL LInkHey, @qriouslad after testing the password reset link find just one issue. After you input the email address to reset the password the confirmation page just directs to the error page lol.
Can you fix also the confirmation page?

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] SMTP “from” not workingHey Bowo thanks for the reply, I didn’t understand the whole debug instructions but I did disable temporarily all my plugins besides the Admin and Site Enhancements and the sent email plugin you recommended, but I still had the same problem.
Would be possible to create enforce option? For instance, the plugin I told you I use for SMTP has a “Force from email” option.

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Feature Request: Admin Menu OptionsHey Bowo, thanks for considering adding to the Admin Menu Organizer these options. I totally understand development takes time, don’t expect you to accomplish all these in 1 week. I appreciate all your hard work, I know good development takes time.
As for the No. 2 request ya I know it’s WP Core/defaults but would be nice to have the option to change the name to the way you like it; however, if that’s too much to change and go over then can let it be, obviously up to you.

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Feature Request: Stop Comment SpamWell, this is mostly for my client who is a news blog writer. I am not sure how many comments he gets per day as he deletes them and I only check his site once in a while. The plugin also doesn’t really show how many come in a day. But I see about 5 to 10 comments every few days.
I also use WPDiquzz for my comments field reason I had to use another plugin for security since WpDisquzz does not have it besides reCAPTCHA.And that’s great hopefully you will consider implementing that, i think would be a great extra security protection against spammers. ??

Hey @qriouslad just want to mention i do have my own server and other services to check my website performances but still like the options for extra security i might not notice.
Hey @qriouslad thanks for considering it. And i would do what you say with that option but if the site goes down for my client or something important happens i need those emails to come in for him and me, if it disables everything can’t find out.

In reply to: [Admin and Site Enhancements (ASE)] Stop User EnumerationHey @qriouslad thanks for the reply, I did notice a few features in the “Stop User Enumeration” they had options like:
- Blocks user enumeration requests by GET or POST
- Syslogs a block so Fail2Ban can be used to block an IP
- Optionally blocks REST API user requests for non-authorized users.
- Optionally removes author sitemap
- Optionally removes author from OEMBED
- Optionally removes numbers from comment authors
Not sure if your plugin has those same options already embedded in your plugin, but that’s what I noticed what they had.
One feature I like about yours that the other plugin doesn’t have is that you can obfuscate publicly exposed author page URLs that show the user slugs/usernames.
And FYI I am not an expert on this stuff, just trying to see what works best for me lol.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Redirection URL NOT working@sandgroper Hey graham thanks for the input! I did see in my Runcloud panel for domain redirects I can try that and see if it works. I would prefer not to use it that way but seems I got no choice lol.

In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Redirection URL NOT working@seinomedia I am not sure why it’s only working for the wp-admin.php
I think it has something to do with the plugin settings forcing the wp-login to only redirect to a 404 page. And like @sandgroper it is its main default.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPS Hide Login] Redirection URL NOT working@seinomedia just now realized this only happens to the wp-login.php page it won’t redirect it, but if I try to go to the wp-admin page it will redirect so not a problem with that.
And yes even with the WPSHide plugin only activated still wouldn’t redirect the wp-login page it will just go straight to my 404 error page.- This reply was modified 1 year, 11 months ago by scarlywebs.
