I add a few words to the post excerpt area, and then hope for it to display below tthe text widget.

That is why I tried to add this code to the eventpost.php or the widget.php

I see screenshot, in this case I am lucky that WooThemes has this option built into their settings panel.

However this is only a temp fix as
1.) It only work for WooThemes
2.) The event, Fathers Day, is still clickable

So what I am saying is hat I’m looking forward to your new release!

I love the 4th option!
and in such case the Name & Date for that event do not link anyware.

If that is something you plan to incorporate, i’m going to stop searching right now and wait for it!

Wow, quick feedback / support, thanks!

I love the simplicity of the plugin and how it integrates with normal posts, thats great.

The issue is that i might have 6 events for the next month, and I will write a post with featured image for all of them.
Then I use the widget to display a list of the 6 events, all still great!

BUT i also want to display Fathers Day – 16 June in the widget list. But I do not want the post for fathers day to be on my blog page as there is nothing more to say except the day.

Does that make sense?

So I want to add the event of fathersday to a category called “noevents” and eclude posts assigned to category “noevents” from the blog page.

@Iomars – Thank you, I realised that the wildcard doesn’t work.

@chris Wiegman – do you want to comment on the wildcard issue. I still get ips to my site, even though the wildcard is blocked, for example

I blocked:
112.444.*.*

and then ips such as this still get to my site:
11.444.123.123

I am interested in buying the pro version, but the ip blocking is rather important for me.
Especially the country blocking.

I actually still have the plugin active, but since last upgrade the share this buttons disappeared.

I deleted and and downloaded a fresh copy of Share This, no luck.
I then saw this post, and un-commented the 2 lines, still no luck…

I use Form lightbox with SS Downloads in order to collect an email address in return for a file download and display it via the top navigation in an modul / overlay / popup.

The Form lightbox works well when embedding the shortcode for the SS Downloads plugin. see scereenshot (1) Howecer, Once you click on Submit, another Form lightbox needs to open like nuber (2)

This is my own fault, I added the code manually in my post template, as I only wanted the share this to show in posts.
( this was before the page option )

However, now that I removed it from my template, it doesn’t show up at all…
