By disabling the plugins nothing changed… so I actually made click what the problem is.

We have 2 different WP installations, one for the public website and one for the premium member area (protected with usr/pasw restricted access). YASR is installed in this latter.

But all users pay and are actually registered in the public WP… where the shopping process takes place…

The result of that is that the user DB of the member area is empty, therefore all users vote as “anonymous”, despite those same users are instead registered users of the other WP (public area).
NOrmally this isn’t a problem because the plugin that manage the membership manage it all with several internal functions, but YASR clearly can’t do that as it’s not it’s core business and it would be complex if not impossible to be done.

So, in the end, I need to apology with you, I should have figure this out before reporting my “issue”.

I will leave you a positive review as I feel a bit guilty and anyways I like the plugin so far ??

Re-uploaded the new file and now, it shows “anonymous” again…

Right. Now it’s improved… at least now I see the user ID number rather than “anonymous” ??

But is it possible to actually show the username of persone how rated?

I can read “anonymous” (but the users were forcely logged in to add the rating… because the yasr UI is loaded on the restricted part of the website (you can access to it only by loggining in via WP).

Also, here in Wp I can’t post any link or printscreen so I can’t show you anything.

If I buy your premium, just show it on YOUR plugin page dot. Don’t need to show it on my WP on any page until I close it.

Point 2
Your bar “Try the premium version for 7 days for free” it doesn’t get away when I click “no thanks not now”, it keep on revening!!!!
Also I tried to click 7 days premium free… because I had enough of your ad, and another ad bar came up with “the trial key will expire in 4.35 days…”

I have several business, so if I decide to upgrade it will be for several business and, trust me, money is no object here.
What is object is that I need to first see if I really need the pro, need your plugin and how powerful it is.
As me there are several persons in the same situation where IF we decide to upgrade it’s surely NOT FOR YOUR ADS in my Wp but just because of MY NEEDS and WHAT YOUR PRO can solve my problem. I would investigate the pro in anyway regardless of your wp ads!!!

Point 3
INSTEAD, your very aggressive AD policy, IS JUST THE REASON why I have enough of this plugin. This is NOT the way to treat your leads, transforming their wp into an ad machine. Keep in mind that WP owner are probably blogger, biz owners, indepedent workers or web administrators… that’s your target: surely not stupid people. But with those ads you treat them as stupid and this just make us go away from you!!!

Point 4
You also add a bar BELOW your plugin in the plugin list to upgrade to premium… this is again a thing that drive me crazy. If all plugin does that I would have to scroll down 2 times because the used space would be the double. Again, a wrong way to ad your pro, which makes me wanna just go away from your plugin!!!

I took the time to write this elaborate feedback because all in all your plugin solve my problem, but with all these aggressive ad strategy you are just making me go away as surely this is reflected on the pro too.

So it let me in without problems, but it just prevent me to save the cookie, so if I close my browser (firefox and chrome) and reopen it, I just need to login again.
Needless to say that I am an IT guy.. I am not using incognito of course ??

ps. with brave this problem doesn’t happens and If I disable your plugin it just work back as normal!

Who makes you think that I don’t do nothing for redirections?
That’s the point of yoast team… you see all matters only from your perspective not from the user one (ie. users can use a different solution implemented than your pro yoast… ).
And I already mentioned this in the message above, I also see that you just don’t read messages or you don’t memorize them… (last sentence, first message)

And NO, I can’t modify the plugin to my needs:
a) because I don’t like to tweak into the PHP code
b) at each yoast update my work would revert back
c) I am not competent enough to do so and I shouldn’t (I am an entrepreneur not a coder)
d) it’s not my task/job to disable a recurrent AD of your plugin
e) your are making your problem mine!!! (and yes, if you care about your users, this is YOUR problem) > it’s YOUR job to do so or at least offer the option to do so on settings

b) don’t call that notification… it’s an AD, a PROMOTIONAL AD

c) it’s not up to you to decide if it’s “shouldn’t cause you much trouble” or not….do you imagine if EVERY plugin does something similar? Do you imagine each users WP experience? it would become a nightmare!
Also, on small screen your super big ad is pushing the content almost below the fold!!!!!

d) “At the moment, the only way…” NO, it’s NOT AT THE MOMENT, it HAS ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT SINCE YEARS….

e) “modify the plugin code” ….”our team is already working” c’mon it’s 7 php lines to set an option to disable that shit, it’s just that is not conveninent for you!!

I am active in many communities and forums and the abuse of Yoast with this promotion is always up as a topic and disgusting thing you guys do… I don’t live in narnia

a) yeah sure… which is equal to say: I put advertising on your mailbox, then you can always delete it!

If you would have been an honest company/plugin, you would have inserted an option on your settings with “disable redirect notifications”.

a) there is no X in the last version of the plugin… so it’s even worst!!

I am having the same “issue”. Hits marks 69 but when I look at analytics I only get 12… so is it possible that the hits also count “bots” and “search engines robots” as hits?
I would like to know if you put in place some sort of filtering system so that only human/browser requests are filtered or if any request for the URL > redirection by the server is counted as one.
