Can someone help me what kind of rewrite rule I need and where to merge it in my existing .htaccess.

But all the websites which have links to my posts based on older permalink structure, will those links still work?

Ok, so I now have this extra information on this that the plugin I was talking about adds Akismet as a filter ‘inside’ SpamKarma.

But how exactly do things work when both are just active?

And what is a better option, running both Akismet and SpamKarma, or running Akismet ‘inside’ SpamKarma?

It was working fine with me, till last weekend ??

Now I get lot of trackback spam which just keeps getting through (by lot I mean 1 leaked spam per 5 minutes!!! damn!!!).

Minutes ago I found and installed these plugins which put all trackbacks/pingbacks in moderation:

And although it *seems* to be working fine, it will be great if someone can look at its 20 line code to confirm if it is not breaking anything inside WordPress 2.0

Thanks for the pointer. Although they are all great plugins, the ones that get closest to my needs are the “mail per post” plugins, but thatz not what I need.

I also felt that my need doesnt actually *needs* an integration with wordpress (although it would have helped to get it all integrated), so I will go ahead and try phplist.
