Now I have a white screen of death on my https://807.events/ site!

Actually all the sites in my network that use your plugin went blank, except for the main site.

I can only get into them by disabling your plugin (renaming your plugin directory).

    :/

Disabling only the date as a temporary solution works for me – Thank you.

Let me know via this thread when you come up with something that makes the date output the same no matter what format any of the sites have it set to.

Like I mentioned earlier maybe setup some sort of filter to remove the part that holds the day data. I really don’t need that part of the date info, however the rest of the date and meta I would really like to keep.

This should be the quickest and easiest patch to implement until you can come up with something more robust (ex: something that makes the date output the same no matter what format the sites have it set to). I am not a programmer nor do I like messing with source files as they tend to get overwritten on any updates.

Thank you for the quick fix (Re-add quarters in time) it is appreciated. I can at least now continue entering events into my site.

    Suggestion

I really think that the quick pick should be for the date only and have a text field for the hour and another for the minutes. Entering the date manually can be tricky (that is why the date picker is a good thing), however time is easier to enter manually rather than scrolling through a long list of hours and minutes.

    Something like this:

    Start: [hh]:[mm] (_)pm

    End: [hh]:[mm] (_)pm

If they don’t enter any time in the start or end time fields, then just don’t display that time field in the listings or display –:– if you must display something. Of course you will employ a filter to remove any invalid entries (ex: >23h or >59m)

Note: Not everyone understands the 24 hour clock. If they enter an hour greater than 12, automatically convert to 12 hour clock and select the ‘pm’. Of course behind the scenes and in the database you will likely continue to calculate, store and export the time in 24 hour format, however for entering and display using the 12 hour clock is preferred by most.

Now that you fixed it I see that you made some changes. However it is NOT an improvement. ??

I cannot select any minutes only hour in the time selector, this is a big problem for events that start/end on the half or quarter hour.

I understand that you are trying to simplify things, however you should not of removed and replace the date and time fields as it is the only way to enter odd time schedules like 10 min before the hour. Also it would be nice to have a blank/no time option for events that don’t have a specified time. Ex: There are many events that have a start time but no end time or events that run at more than one time slot during the day (because your plugin does not handle multiple days/times, it is better to show no time just the date).

Unfortunately I already lost a client because I could not post his events accurately over the long weekend.

So ‘Unverified’ means that the system does not know that payment went through?

Why is this ‘Unverified’ not explained in any documentation or if it is, why could I not find it? I thought it had to do with email. :/

Note: It is a good thing that PayPal sent a payment notification via email, otherwise I would of not checked for the customer’s ad. BTW: it would of been a lot easier to find their ad if I was to be able to search for ads via email addresses.

PayPal Settings -> Activate PayPal?, PayPal receiver email, PayPal currency code is all I can find, where does it mention an IPN URL?

This should be noted in the PayPal Settings section of the plugin that an IPN needs to be set and at least a line that shows what the IPN URL is. And/or an added link to ‘Recommended PayPal Account Settings’ that is located in your documentation also would be a nice touch. ??

I see that they have this option:

Setup of “multiple memberships per user” on a single site.

in their ‘Development Day – $997’ package.

I am just looking for the add-on that I can download and install myself that will do this.

    No, it shows:

    NinjaFirewall (WP edition)

    Firewall Enabled
    PHP SAPI CGI-FCGI
    Version 1.3.9 (2015-02-23)

BTW: this is a WordPress Multisite Set-up Version 4.1.1.

It is now being displayed, Thank you!

I am logged in as the super admin and far as I know not using any prohibited HTML tags and still get blocked. Simply disabling the rules would defeat the firewall. I tried and it seems if I disable one then another is triggered and so on.

Here is an example of where multiple dates, multiple time and locations whould come in handy:

Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra heads out on Tour West
This week the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra heads out in the region for its semi-annual TBSO on Tour. This week the TBSO heads west, stopping in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Kenora to perform community and education concerts and lead masterclasses under the direction of guest conductor Adam Johnson.

School concerts will take place at The Dryden Regional Training and Cultural Centre (Dryden, ON), Pelican Falls First Nations High School (Sioux Lookout, ON), and Knox United Church (Kenora, ON).

It goes on with greater details of what times and where. As it is now I have to make duplicate posts for each time and location (multiplying the posts needed).

I have been getting more and more of these types of posts (trade shows, concerts, etc.), please consider moving this feature request up in priority.

    Has this been forgotten?

This issue is NOT resolved, if you visit my site you will see it is still not working.
