The only thing that has changed now is that the rel=”tag” attribute has been removed from the first link (the one above the post title (previously shown as a gray block, now a simple link)).

Can you “rescue” this one as well?

No, unfortunately this advice does not change anything.
The problem seems to be inside the post_html part, where we do use some nested divs.

As said before, this hasn’t been a problem so far.
But I just recognized that our WP version has been updated from 6.1.x to 6.3 recently. Maybe this caused the problem somehow…?

We’re still using Classic editor – does it make a difference?

And the use of HTML code became necessary because we use the Top Posts in combination with another plugin. So far this has also worked without any problems.

I’ll try anyway, if the switch changes something.

hmmm, I am using a theme I have build from scratch on my own. But I’ve done this only twice, while googling most of the requested stuff…

Is there something (a line of code …?) I can add to the theme to get back the ability for using <em> in the title? ??

The problem is that I only want to display individual parts of the title in Italic. The whole title would not be a problem. But I just can’t put extra tags in the title.

Just wondering why nobody mentioned before that this hidden feature is blocking a common WP feature..

I can now confirm that the problem was caused by a problem in the cookie consent script. We installed an update yesterday and the tracked pageviews are back to normal today.

So sorry for the confusion, it wasn’t a problem of your plugin, just a side effect.

Sorry for the delay, but we were busy with the GoLive of a new project the last few days.

I had to update the script for the Consentmanager today, as there have been changes. Maybe the problem will be solved with this update as well (need to wait until at least tomorrow)..

But at the moment I do see 3 entries for googletagmanager:

Well, we do have a cookie consent script integrated, but the script reads like this:

It’s been loaded right after the script mentioned above.
Maybe there is a conflict, but it’s interesting that it occurs now (since this weekend) and not when we implemented your or the cookie consent script weeks ago.

a day later the content is back again… no idea why, but yeah, it’s working again

Thank you for the explanation. We’re using self-made themes and as I’ve said, the plugin was working correctly ’til now, but now it’s broken, although I haven’t changed anything on the theme
