Well… for sure if that is possible?? Can you tell me how to do this?
Whereever I check the settings for the image, url is always readonly. But yeah, maybe I just don’t know where to have a look.

Here are the requested screenshots. All looks fine until pic 3. I do see a correct preview of the default image but when I click “save changes” I am getting the error message.

Sorry for my late response, but I was ill over the last few days with vaccination side effects :-/

But now I’ve checked the settings you wanted to know about:
in WP Admin => Settings => General => WordPress Address (URL) and as well as
in WP Admin => Settings => General => Site Address (URL)
I do see the absolute url: https://subdomain.domain.com (sample)

But whenever I am going to include an image from the library to any given post, the image url is always relative, which seems to be the problem with the default image in this case as well.

Do you know where I can check for this setting?

Maybe I have just overseen it yesterday, or it’s new. But there IS an additional error message coming up on the page. It says:

“/wp-content/uploads/image_for_SocialMedia.jpg does not seem to be a valid url. Please correct.”

What can I do here?

I am not able to add https://www.myproject-url.com/
in front of the image url coming from the media library manually.

Thank you for your quick response.

My image is 800x533px (and 800x490px for another project).
Maybe this is too large? Or does it have to be sqaure?

I have a similiar issue.
Featured images are being displayed if there is one. But

? If there’s no featured image in the post, it uses the default image set in SEO > Social > Facebook

I am not able to save a default image here for the case the post or page does not have a featured image.

I select an image and click “save changes” and after a seond or two the default image is being removed and the browser tab just says “The form contains 1 error”.

Any idea what I can do or check?

I re-installed the latest version of the plugin, but there is still a problem. I can sort my posts but after refreshing the page everything is gone. It just doesn’t save my custom order. Very annoying!

Ah….. after trying to update the plugin (which resulted in an error, see above) the plugin has now been deactived automatically. “Plugin file does not exist”. Well done..

Same issue here. Sort order just doesn’t get saved permanently. It worked previously – no Idea when it broke. Last update a reason?

I just saw that there is currently a new update available. But I cannot install it. Error “Update failed: Could not create directory.”

Any idea what’s going wrong here?
Everything was setup and working correctly for about a year, now it’s just not usable anymore.
